The first part of my name came from the ninja clan from the anime "Naruto"(couldn't think of anything else Smile ). The second part of my name is from my last name "Papa" which means potato in spanish.

I used to go by FunkyYounky because that was my nickname when I was kid. I used that as my AIM sn, my e-mail address, my forum names, etc. etc.

Eventually, though, I got sick of embaressing myself whenever people asked for my e-mail or AIM sn in person.

Them: "So what's your e-mail address?"
Me: "Umm...Fun-kee Young-Kee...."
Them: "Hmm...what was that?"
Me: "Fung-kee Yung-kee...."
Them: "What?"
Me: "How bout you just call me instead..."

So ya, I was looking for a new sn, and I chanced upon a korean song on my winamp list called Ghil by GOD. It actually means "road" in korean, and is misspelled in the translation (should be Gil), but I like it all the same.

My nickname "groink" was first used as a verb/noun/etc. during my IRC days in the late 1980's. Sort of similar in use as the word "guber" or "smurf", as in "I went drinking with some friends last night, and I got royally groinked."

My true handle is "The Mac Geek", which everyone in the Apple Macintosh community know me as. However, when I work with Jdorama-related stuff, I chose to use "groink" rather than the geek to separate the two concentrations when I associate with people.

Also, my Hawaii State license plate is "GROINK". Funny as hell when I enter Pearl Harbor... The guard always ask, "What the heck is GROINK?????"

UWF (jo[TEXOEtFf[V) was a Western-style pro-wrestling company in Japan from 1984 to 1996. Shooter is a generic term for a pro wrestler who can do realistic moves (from college/Olympic wrestling, judo, kickboxing, karate, etc. Pretty much what Hulk Hogan cannot do, for those WWF/E fools), which the UWF roster specialized in doing. Puroresu, or Japanese-made Western-style professional wrestling, is another Japanese TV product I like to watch. (BTW, my avatar is UWF founder Oc Maeda Akira.)

Well, mine have quite a few definitions actually. It depends how u wanna see it.

Some see it as I am 'Takuya's Angel'.
Or you can regard it as Takuya is like an angel. Absolutely Perfect.

But actually, i love Takuya Kimura and i like the nick 'Angel' alot. So there you go...

hmm,

for my nick, I onced used [O]r4nGe for a period of time in IRC. I think I chose orange coz' I remember seeing someone in a drama using Orange as a name but I forgot who... The other reason is becoz I like the colour itself... ^_^

Even my classmates in poly call me Orange instead of my real name. Sweat

I think I used orenji as my nick in most forums that I joined... hehe

3Peace...

^-^ hope you'll be able to go there, and tell me then, cause perhaps we could meet (I'm living in the west part of Austria) Wink

Where my nick came from? Well, I wanted to join a forum, but therefore I need a nick ... so right at that moment I was eating a "milky way" and I also had the radio on and they played this song called "drops of jupiter" from "Train" which I loved, and you always here the word "milky way" in the song XD

So I decided that it is fate to be my virtual name Wink
and later I noticed that larc has also a song called "milky way" which I really like, so this name is really perfect for me and I use it everywhere in the i-net ^-^
