Was watching Hero on Mnet (and totally enjoyed it), but I keep missing the ending! Doh!

Has anybody seen Holyland? I know it's based on the Japanese manga, and I've seen the Japanese version of the drama. Is it worth watching or is it the same as watching the Japanese one?

I heard the show was good, but for some odd reason Mnet only showed 3 episodes and then went into a massive repeat of the same 3 episodes for several weeks. Nut

Been watching the first 20 episodes of Horse Doctor (and skipping here and there). The start and setup was interesting but it's got that problem with being a bit contrived at times and dragging plot developments out for too long. I guess they try to be light-hearted since this director has done some of the most successful historical medical dramas, but this is a far cry from Hur Jun or Jewel in the Palace. There are some good performances and interesting moments but these are few and far between. Kim So Eun is absolutely adorable as the princess though. She has become my favourite Korean actress, although I may forget this in a few months time.

^ You gotta see Kim So Eun in the Good day for the wind to blow. Its like 170 + episodes but she's so wonderful in it. They need to give this girl more lead roles Fingers crossed

Could this new Korean Law be the end of KDrama and K-Pop as we know it?:http://blog.dramafever.com/2013/03/is-koreas-ban-on-miniskirts-the-end-of-kpop/?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=tweet&utm_campaign=df%2Bnews

Definitely not the end of K-Dramas, K-Pop on the other hand might suffer for awhile due to this new law, but it shouldn't have long term damage. Quite frankly some of my favorite female K-pop bands outfits were getting kind of skimpy, not that I was bothered by it since I'm a guy and all lol. But I think it was the right move to make.

I am watching a Korean drama that at first drove me wild. I was sure they had made mistakes and edited it all wrong. However I kept on watching and got completely hooked and now I am so fond of all the characters that I don't want it to end. It is called 'Reply 1997' It is about a family grouping and sundry people who were in high school together in 1997 and now it is 2012 and they are still pals doing all sorts of different jobs. They still are close and get together to reminisce about the old days.

We see them as they were and the adventures and affections between them and then we bounce back to 2012 and it is fascinating how things have changed.... and stayed the same.! It is not revealed who became couples until almost the end and it really becomes so mysterious. Clever writing and very good direction keeps the story moving along. I am hating coming to the ending.
It's a good cast made up of new young leads and older seniors who are steady and so real in their roles.

I urge you to watch and get past the first couple of episodes. I would be sad if you missed out on this drama. You have to get used to the Busan dialect......

Everything you ever needed to know about K-Dramas (although he left out that if you fall in love with someone there is a 99% chance she is your long, lost sister that you didn't know you had): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqQA89JHtNY&feature=player_embedded

I'll have to ask him. I know he prefers the male Korean actors for being tougher and he feels the women are more beautiful.
I also think he likes the melodrama.
THough watching Shota No Sushi we are talking some serious sushi moments. Victory! Peace!

^ I kind of get it though, when a Korean drama is good, it's often extremely good and entertaining. Korean crude humour also appeals to me for a certain reason.

And you can be sure I never allow him to see any bad ones. I review first. Just grateful he actually likes them too. Victory! Peace!
