I had requested and was hoping genma (or someone) is able to make users' trade rating of something, but I guess the next best thing we can do is to create a thread like this and make it a sticky. I've traded here in this forum, all great traders BTW:

I don't know if oljdtrade is still trading or not, but I give her my highest recommendation...
Not only did she make flawless copies of Seikei Bijin for me and put each disc in its own slimline case, but she went through the trouble of making nice homemade labels for each disc:

Im experienced in trading Media through mail but only recently began trading JDorama. Things have gone smothly so far and made just a few trades. I will list and update as I trade more.

Well it's been a month and I guess I'll finally have to call AsianDVDVCD a ripper. Before his fiasco on this board, he contacted me for a 54 CD trade. He had over 270+ refs on ebay and I thought that it would be safe to trade with someone with soo many refs, but I was wrong. We both agreed to send at the same time, and for a trade of this size I usually send by priority mail with signature confirmation. I waited two weeks for his CD's and when they didn't come I emailed him about it. His reply was that he never received my CD's, so he never sent mine. I have the signature confirmation, that he signed for the package, however he must of forgot about signing for it, because he claimed he never received it. Well, after confronting him with him having to sign for the package and telling him we were both suppose to send at the same time, he never replied to another one of my emails. His info is:

I've been shorted [anime on bad quality cd-rs & incomplete dramas claimed to be complete] but never stiffed. Must be doing something good! [fingers crossed  ]
AsianDVDVCD contacted me for a 34+ disc order and is devious with words. But no amount of BS should make you bend on your rules � and no exceptions to any newbie / deceitful traders. Earn trading credit like the rest of us and follow others rules and keep in contact.

I'm sad to say that Asiandvdvcd may be possibly a conman. In fact, e-bay has contacted me that to let me know that I should contact the authorities in the matter and if I am to follow through they would gladly assist. Unfortunately, I ordered from him via ebay for the first time. Most of the jdramas I have gotten from ebay are from Malaysia in the original boxes but his dramas were the main VCD's up online when I ordered from ebay and it's been awhile since I ordered. I have never received any communication from him other than what I own to him via paypal but since paying, he would not answer my e-mails. No communication whatsoever.
It sucks because right after I ordered, he then received a lot...I mean A LOT of negative responses. His reply is always "they didn't pay insurance, not my fault"... I simply believe he takes people's money and uses that comment. What makes him so idiotic is that if he sent it to the wrong address, the package would come back to him and he could resend it. Unfortunately, he uses the package got lost in the mail routine too many times. It appears quite a bit of people has reported him to ebay and paypal for fraud. There are a few people who are able to get things from him but those who have gotten anything from him have complained. All I can say is beware of this person because I'm not surprised if he's being investigated for fraud at this current time for taking so much money from people for their orders on ebay and not sending their items (even though he claims that it's the buyer's fault for not paying insurance. Over 30+ negative feedback in less than 60 days....something is definitely wrong.)
I feel so bad for many of the people who have been cheated by asiandvdvcd.

| luckily i read this thread cus i really thought this asiandvdvcd was really selling these VCDS and nv thought he was a cheat. I nearly wanted to buy VCDs from him.. phew.. wat a close shave.. thx everyone for explosing him. |

Well, I'm glad my bad experience with AsianDVDVCD has been helping others to avoid this ripper. However, I can't believe the galls this guy has to try to rip others after I exposed him on the board. Well, another member on this board contacted me in regards to this matter, and I'm sorry to say but I think his ripping scheme is bigger than I thought. I was emailed the following information, from another trader who was ripped by him. Clearly from the email I received from him, asiandvdvcd has received my CD's, since he was trying to sell them to another trader. Anyway, I'm not sure if the trader who contacted me with the following information would like to be credited, but I would gladly give it if he/she would like me to do so since it was he/she that gathered all of the following information. I have removed the street address and phone number from his email. As or now, everyone should be wary of traders from Arizona.
"I have also been ripped by asiandvdvcd. I've been waiting for a package of VCDs from him for a month and a half. I talked to him on AIM about 3 weeks ago (hasn't answered my IMs or emails since). He told me he'd send the package the next day but I haven't seen anything so far. That liar! Not only that, but he tried to sell me some dramas that he just got from trading. Phong Tran is the guy that owns the eBay account asiandvdvcd. Although Peter has been asiandvdvcd for a while now, I'm not sure if that has always been the case. I've talked to eBayers that have contacted Mr. Tran regarding non-receipt of items, but his answers have been very Kuan-like (i.e. I already send it. Must've been lost in the mail). Either Tran started the account and handed over to Peter or they're still working together.

| Unfortunately, you can't always trust ebay's feedback system. It's not hard to buy an ID with excellent feedback rating. You really have to check the feedback for a change in pattern. A friend of mine wasn't looking to scam people, but he was able to buy an ID with over 100 +'ve feedback for a couple of hundred dollars. |

hey chichiri1 that is amazing at the amount of information you've gathered about this guy. I have to give you props very CIA like hehe. I got asianvcdvd's AIM sn from another thread posted about him and I tried contacing him just to see whats going on. What is even more comical was he denied he was asianvcdvd. He also denied that he knew what was going on. 
I hope this guy goes to jail or something |
