Good afternoon, After having watched the first 10 episodes, a thought hit me: Hotman is very similar to Under the Same Roof. Both have families led by an eldest brother after the parents died. Both are large families, especially by today's standards in Japan. Either way, really enjoyed both. Rock on, PCM

Do you think that this series will ever be picked up by any fansub groups? i've already seen both seasons twice before on TV in cantonese but it would be nice if it was subbed.

I'm not sure what you mean. There wasn't a third season done at all. Only Hitotsu Yane no Shita 1 and 2.

groink actually fan sub the under the same roof 1, but from what i remember he didn't actually finish the whole process can't remember which episode did he stop at..

This drama is extremely hard to find with english subs. You probably have to buy or trade for it. I saw a couple of traders have it on the buy or trade forum.

Welcome! ^^ This is my favourite drama. I hope others could enjoy and like it as well. I didn't notice at first, but in the release post, they wrote that this version includes deleted scenes as well (may be not the first episode). So those who have watched it before may like to download and watch again, I know I am going to. Dancing

Earlier in the year, I saw they actually have DVD version of this drama on sale at Taiwanese auction site. Perhaps that's where they got high quality video from... Only VCD format used to be available.
