Power blackouts sucks bleh . One time I was downloading a huge 16 gig file (it's an anime) on BT and I was like 86% complete and have downloaded like 14 or 15 gig already when a power blackout occured. It lasted for 30 mins. And that's not enough, when I opened my BT, it checked for existing files and since the downloaded data was like 14 or 15 gig, the loading was so slow and it almost took an hour before the download resumed Shake Head .

yeah, that really sux. it used to take forever to do all the re-hashing with azureus after blackouts. after that, i learned my lesson and switched to utorrent and bitcomet, are u using those clients? - so my shinsengumi (16 gig dl) resumed dling pretty quickly Sweat

I used BitTornado back then when that blackout happened. I'm currently using BitComet now, but I am always able to shut down the program properly, so I haven't experience the re-hashing on this client Sweat .

personally, i like bitcomet much better than bitornado, even if i d/l mainly one torrent at a time, the speed is just much better now. Yes!

Yeah, I noticed that too. And there were times that I'm having problems connecting to a tracker with BitTornado, that's why I shifted to BitComet Big Grin .
