On the first day of Spring, my car door was frozen shut. I tugged and tugged, and while I tugged to free the door, I heard birds singing in the tree on my lawn. The irony was not lost on me.

I was in Amsterdam last week, the final stop of a 2-week tour of Europe. Around mid-day it began to snow lightly, then later it hailed for a few minutes. Afterwards, in the late afternoon we traveled to Volendam where it was cold but dry.

The day after we left Paris, it snowed there. On our way to Munich, it snowed pretty heavily, and it hailed in Innsbruck while we were there for a brief stopover.

The coldest day for me however, was in Venice on St. Patrick's Day. No snow, hail, or rain, but omg was it cold!

Definitely a cold traveler. I have been in snow eight times in my entire life and half of them occurred on this recent trip.

Snow is pretty to look at, but I'm forever grateful I don't have to live in it. Never have and never will.

I lived in snow country for years. It can be beautiful.

It snowed 60 days in a row one year in Colorado.

I prefer it warm. By far. Victory! Peace!

I heart all the seasons we get. Mind you, I'm not a warm-climate type of gal.
