WD, I agree with everything you said. I know Johnny's albums get a low second week, but I'm really hoping Time gets a decent one, because of the success of their previous singles, Nino and Sho's drama and the upcoming single and tour. It's just that I'm really hoping this album becomes their best selling one, so I'm trying to not to think the sales will drop "a lot" this week~
I'm also obsessed with numbers, so I try to be as much positive as I can, cause I really with them the best XDDD
So... I got the information wrong. The week ended today so no more sales for the first week XDD According to Oricon, Time sold 191k on its first week.
Btw, new Oricon article about Arashi up on its site~
I translated it by myself, feel free to correct any mistakes, I tried to make it as clear as possible XD
In the article says the ranking ending on 7/23, but wouldn't that be 7/16? XD
Arashi, the best first position in 5 years, their 6th album to become #1
In the weekly rankings ending on July 23th, Arashi's 7th original album Time managed to get an overwhelming #1 on its first week.
Since back in July of 2004 with Iza, Now, Arashi's albums have been topping the charts, being the new album the 5th time, the 6th since they debuted. This time, Time's first week sales (191k) have outsold their previous album ARASHIC sales (131k), making this album their second best selling album on its first week since their first one, ARASHI No.1 ~Arashi wa Arashi wo Yobu~ (267k).

Yeah, congratulations to Arashi!
Anyway, sometimes they use the factor 1.75, but depending on the numbers given by 50% of the stores which only faxed in their sales later towards the week, I guess the actual sales are actually higher? _________________

okay, i just got Arashi Around Asia in .avi, the 5 hours one (which one is that?) and i was wondering....
is there subs for this ???? i so don't wanna miss 2 hours of their conversation.
thx a million btw.
MatsuJun's hair
hair extension. the fans hated it... well most. I'm on the fence. From the right angle, he kinda look cool with it.
the 5hrs is the summary/documentary/crack of them jetting around Asia. no subs... yet. Its 5 hrs. I think the subbers are too busy subbing YamaTaro to touch this yet. However I got the gist of what they are saying while watching it.. sumhow, I think I read a brief translation of them jetting around asia but can't remember who wrote it.
Each of them were wearing sumthing yellow in Thailand to honour the Thai King I think.. The Arashi members kept referring to Ohno as "Boss"...hmm.. I'm not helping much am I?
Just watch it without subs first. Its visually pleasing anyway. You got a taste of the backstage process & SHO IS DAMN HOT. I love seeing him & Nino flexing their muscle in sleeveless top, Ohno giving a tour of the house..pointing to the red roped chair..saying he like stuff that's tied up........ok. I'll stop babbling now....

yes, the jetting scenes. i'm so dying to know what they're saying. what i could catch was Nino's "bla bla bla... i mean, Private Jet. first time?" and i knew that was meant to be funny but i couldn't understand the daymn thing and that pissess me off.
no you're not helping, anyone can catch the word 'sachou'
Nino's abs? zoom 8x and you still wont find it.
no no, continue with what Sho said _________________

gosh.. i love that film. Aiba as Adam the gentle, kind introvert with a heart condition. Adam believes his heart was transplanted from a baboon. Got to have the animal referrence when Aiba is concerned.
Expect kisses. Hopefully there'll be a love scene too. Aiba with Natsuki-chan (Shigeru in HYD).. how wonderful is that?
FAN CAM!!! DVD!!!
anybody else who have seen the film & is as excited about Aiba as Adam as I do RIGHT NOW?
men love arashi. you guys should visit huxley.vox.com for her report & translation on Arashi fanmen & boys.
