Namie Amuro to appear on 'Kohaku'

Namie Amuro's appearance on the 68th 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' has been confirmed.

Amuro announced her retirement last September. This will be her 10th 'Kohaku' appearance, the last time being 14 years ago in 2003. She will appear on the upcoming program as a special performing artist.

Namie Amuro to release her last tour on DVD and Blu-ray

Namie Amuro will release a live DVD and Blu-ray 'namie amuro Final Tour 2018 - Finally' on August 29th.

The release will include footage from the Tokyo Dome finale of her last tour held from February to June. It will contain the complete footage of her anniversary live 'namie amuro 25th Anniversary Live in Okinawa' held last September in her hometown. The Limited Edition will come with live footage of anime 'One Piece' collaboration songs.

For packaging there will be five different versions, Tokyo Dome, Nagoya Dome, Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome, Sapporo Dome, and Kyocera Dome Osaka. Each type will include tour footage edited by a different director.
