I watched episode one and halfway through episode two of Binbo Danshi. Even though Shun Oguri is one of my favorite actors, I couldn't get through it. xD I didn't find it very funny/entertaining.

Yea I hate it. It seriously one of the most stupid dramas I've seen so far. (But I most admit at least it's better than First Kiss... I don't think any drama can be worse than that one).. I can't believe Shun accepted a role in that drama!! _________________
Eek, I'm avoiding that one... Last thing I need is brain rot.
what other reason could one possibly have for watching a high school jdrama? they all tend to be mildly entertaining with pretty people and brain rotting.
edit to add a quicky general question: why are the summer dramas not on the list? the faq states that add requests should be emailed in but the email doesn't seem to work...
^ its a nickname given by Takki when he was still a cute little junior. he was always forced to wear pink clothes because he looked darn cute in it so Takki (he's like a Johnny's Jr leader back then) combined Yamashita and Pink together. Yeah.. I know about these stuff
After Kurosagi, I've sworn off from ever having hi-hopes on this guy and I didn't watch Prodai.
well , all u know is watching food drama
i guess ur brain must be fill up of tofu
'Change' nice drama and highly recommended but sad there is no tofu in the drama
Kimura speech was u wouldnt want to miss it.
I'm also staying away from that one. I could not watch more than one ep each of Fugoh Keiji and Remote. I thought Yama Onna Kabe Onna was dumb as hell. I don't know how/why I watched Mirai Koshi Meguru to the end.
it was dumb but it far most better than those lousy silly english series
'max boring'
Hmmmm...well, here's a shot in the dark: ever try Densha Otoko? I'd say both the main characters are nice, plus the rest of the supporting cast drive the series just as fantastic as well!
you can try My Husband aka Mukodono! It was a hilarious love drama IMO , but sadly there's still no tofu inside

Lotto 6, Last Friends, Yukan Club, SOS, I could keep going if you want me to!

Guys, I need a new drama to watch! Any recommendations? I love watching humorous dramas, especially new ones! Please, any recommendations? (already watched mukudono btw) _________________

I'd recommend you Nodame in an instant, but I suppose you've already seen it :p, same goes for Nobuta wo Produce, and My Boss My Hero I guess...
I personally find Seigi no Mikata 2008 very funny, it's still airing and subbed up to episode 4. But the plot is a bit simple and there's not too much behind it. (i think) still, it's been long since I've laughed that much XD
I also liked "Sexy Voice and Robo" as well as "Tiger & Dragon"

What are the good shows out this season? From what I gather Seigi no Mikata and Maou are good, but are there any others that is worth my attention? And please don't mention Code Blue or anything like that. I'm looking for substance, not fanboy/girly stuff. _________________

That Gonzo drama seems interesting, judging from what I've read in that thread.

Check out the other medical drama airing this season, Tomorrow. It's been doing pretty well in my books.
Also, note: steer clear of Lotto 6. It's arguably the worst drama released all year, there's a reason why it's dipped down to low 4's in their ratings.

Cool, I'll go and put this on my "to download/author to dvd" list. Thanks!

With Yutaka and Kanno Miho starring, I was already more than halfway convinced that I'd be interested in it. Thanks for confirming that it's a good one.
I wonder if Taiyou to Umi no Kyoushitsu is any good. There are mixed opinions, so I'm reluctant to download it, especially since my fave Oda Yuji's in it. I might just check it out only because Kohinata Fumiyo is in it. Eek, I can't believe I'm sort of a fangirl. _________________

LoL, I know this isn't the 'identify the drama' thread, but I'm sure you're probably talking about Ima Ai ni Yukimasu. Linkage here: http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Ima_Ai_ni_Yukimasu
Sounds like an interesting premise to a show however...
