May I ask for your favourite underrated dramas? I mean dramas which have never won a prize, or those with very low rating!

It may seem a strange question at first glance, but I'm asking it because I'm currently watching Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai (2006) and its average rating was very low of 9.6, but I can easily say it is one of my all-time favourites.

It seems like people either thought this was hilarious or one of the worst dramas ever. Kenichi Matsuyama was great as the action figure otaku.

Mmm... I wouldn't call 9.6 a low rating It's average.
Kazoku no uta had an average rating of 3.92% in prime time
It was axed at episode 8, but was actually very enjoyable. Maybe the father (Odagiri Jo) was a bit too self centered and hopeless for mainstream Japan. I rather liked the whole thing, so it comes recommended

I recommend OSEN which had a weekly average rating of 9.1 in 2008

I also recommend:
The Hours Of My Life & Yokai Ningen Bem

The monsters on Yokai Ningen Bem look SyFy Channel cheap, but you soon learn to overlook it. I was surprised how much I like the drama. (The movie is also good, but the drama is better.)

I'm the newbie of the block and I need a favour, please!

It's Sunday evening in my part of the world right now, of one of the few weekends I have off. Monday is near, I'm bored and it's terribly hot!
I want to start a J-drama marathon, but it's been some time since I last watched anything... I was hoping for a couple of good, quick recommendations.
Of course, I saw the sticky with the recommandations, but I got totally lost in there!

Something with romance and good actors?

After checking mydramalist.info, I mostly watched the ones where characters were sick, but I'll not add those. I haven't got around to watching the romance ones I planned on.

I've watched Suppli, Tatta hitotsu no koi and Love Shuffle.
I certainly recommend Love Shuffle - all-star cast, great story, humour, emotion - a little bit of everything, plus quality! It's one of my favourites.
