nanako for sure!!! i dun really like tokiwa.. n i din like beautiful life somehow.. tokiwa and koyuki reminds me of each other and i really dislike koyuki.. so nanako for me..

Takako Tokiwa for me...... im not her fan but her role seems more interesting and versatile ....from cute and adorable in Aishiteiru to itte kure, to strong and tough in Long Love Letter, to weak and fragile in beautiful life...

waiting for any new dramas by her....

aiya.. so no one else know that Nanako's will be acting in a NTV drama special scheduled to be telecast this autumn, intitle Hotaru no Haka / Grave of the Fireflies a.k.a Tombstone for Fireflies.. There's an animation movie version of this title though I'm not sure what the story's about and what kind of character Nanako will be playing as ^^

Oh Man ! This is a really sad anime movie ! Although the storyline is really good, it is superior only in the way it makes the viewers emphatize with Man's solitude in times of War. Looks like an outbreak of WWII dorama dealing with the atomic bomb.

I can't wait. That was a really sad but excellent anime movie. I am really looking forward to seeing it. Thanks emiko!

None as far as I can recall. The movie just centers on the brother-sister relationship as they try to survive post-war Japan. Suffice to say that it's a tear-jerking experience. And that's a gross understatement.

well, have you tried d-addicts? or btchina seems to have lots of chinese subbed japanese drama (though I've only downloaded Last Present from there ^^) There's even a clubbox with tons of jdorama but those are raw

Just read the article again (my jpnese sux ) and noticed that this character that Nanako will be playing is a distant relative of the poor brother & sister. She's a widow and when the bro & sis first came to her, she treats them with a very nice attitude and she kindly take care of them. Somehow because of the war (eh or post-war?) she transforms into some sort of "unkind " character because all she thinks about is to protect her own child (children?).

This is the first time Nanako will be playing this kind of character ^^
