I was at Mitsuwa yesterday and saw one of the ladies that used to work at the Little Tokyo store. She's from Aomori which is just south of Hokkaido and they have pretty severe winters there. As I approached her, before I could say anything she said, "Samui da yo!!" Or, "It's cold!!" When someone from Aomori is complaining about the cold, you KNOW it's cold!!

Daytime temps are finally moving into the low/mid 70s starting tomorrow... Hope this is the last cold snap for a good while.
