I wish there was snow down here in the valley. I would have to drive all the way into the foothill area to see snow. I think in California we'll soon have to set our clock back an hour for day light saving time.
yeah here in cali we have the surf in the beach...and then just a 2 hour drive to the mountain to go snowboarding! Mr Green (but right now there's a huge fire up in the mountains)

Stepped out today for the first time since the heavy snow. A friend asked me out for a stroll. When I rushed outside, the ground was slippery, I fell on the ground immediately. Hehe! The sole is similar to indoor shoes, crappy Nike Rolling eyes Actually it was quite fun, the feel of winter. I'm not sayin I want slide all over again hehe

i guess in some ways the saying, "the grass is always greener on the other side" rings true... pple like me who live in the sunny part of the world turns green with envy when we hear others who have the opportunity to frolick in the snow during winter... sign... would lurve to experience it.....and have a white christmas (i'm dreaming of a white christmas...)

but i don't think i'll be able to survive long in winter (just for holiday will be great)...in some ways, winter seems a little too dreary... everywhere covered with snow (all white and not much colours... will seem a little too depressing to me...)... and it'll be too bloody cold, then i won't be able to do much and just wanna lie in bed and stay there....

i guess i'm still more suited to the tropical climate (maybe cos' i've lived here all my life)... tho i may whine and curse at the weather for being too darn hot and humid...

Yeah..Winter is pretty. But after awhile when all you do is travel in the icy cold and the snow has turned brown, black, and yellow. It's not so much fun anymore. Then your shoes always get wet and leave a puddle of water wherever you go. And you have to be bundled up in so much clothing. All the shovelling and making sure that your sidewalk and drive way is sprinkled with salt. It's not what I want to do. But it's always great if I were enjoying Winter from the inside and just sipping on some hot chocolate.

That's when you use your jacket with built in "heater" Wink

Out of all seasons, the one I like most is winter... don't know why, but I just like them. shovelling, spreading salt, that's when the part time worker can be used Wink

I suddenly remember there was a time on last summer where it was snowing lightly, and some of us (3) yelled "SUMMER SNOW" together and the rest of our friends looks puzzled and we just laughing around.

It hasn't been snowing since the first snow Big Grin the snow has melted.
Currently a typical autumn weather: dark and short days, pretty chilly and leaves fallin on the ground. I think the first snow was just a preview of the upcomin cold winter Shake Head

The sign of it. It's already dark now, 4.30 pm. The most hated "feature" of the winter is "Wake up in the dark morning, already dark when heading home from school" Sweat Shake Head

Snow???? What's that??? The closest thing to that was the ashes dropping out of the sky from all the wildfires here...

when you said to switch do you mean you want to go from hot-to-hot? Because BMW lives in a hot (california) place. You prolly meant from hot-to-cold to see snow, right? Like pemu, limpaway, and I will say the same. Everyone wants to see snow, until the novelty wears off and get sick of snow.
(Don't worry, I'm jealous of everyone who lives near a beach.) Mr Green
