The ones who ask for money are usually my vocational kids. These kids often don't have parents around or live in a household with little income. In the halls or cafs they'll ask for a dollar or two to buy a full lunch. I usually have no problems giving them money, but you'll always get the few who'll come even if they don't need the money for lunch.

This little heat wave is ticking me off. Normally, up here in Northern California we get a mid May warning. A week or two of really hot weather just to let us know that the dreaded summer is coming. Then it cools off for a bit and summer happens toward the end of June. I don't remember ever seeing a hot patch like this in mid April before. It was in the high 80s yesterday, and it seems to be going there again today. I realllllllllly hate hot weather. _________________ Manga is to Literature what Graffiti is to Art
