sorry I need some help for one word I will ask my teacher tomorrw. The subs will be uploaded tomorrow for sure. sorry that it takes so long
Since you're talking about Creature Creature, it reminds me to ask you if you have the DEAD END albums. It's the band of the singer that he did before working with Tetsu. I'd like to see how Tetsu make his music change. _________________

Sorry if this considered to be a silly question as it probably has been discussed pages ago But I'm curious....
How do you insert a subtitle into a video file. What kinda softaware do u use? I had tried to insert a translation of a TV show but it ended up so messy that I discarded it altogether. Can anyone show me how? _________________

if you only want to play the video file with subs you need a filter for them (vobsub). Next step is to rename the *.srt (subtitle file).
for example:
video: L'Arc en ciel - 15th Anniversary.avi
subtitles: L'Arc en ciel - 15th Anniversary.srt
It's very important that you name the subtitle file the same as the video.
if you want to insert the subs into the file because you want to burn the file with subs on a vcd/dvd you need something like avimuxer or mediacoder.PLEASE make sure that you select high quality before encoding the file again. You have to encode it again.
For DVD you need another program (I can't remember the name because I'm not at home) that will encode the subs (more than 1 subtitle file is allowed) into vob- format.
Ahh, thanks for the info myu-chan. Do you know where i could find them [i didn't find them on JPS] or could you possibly upload one or both of them for me? Thanks in advance!

Oooor... You can just mux the subtitles and video into an MKV container, and then the subtitles will be stored in the video file, and you can turn them on and off.

Sounds very hard to do. this vobsub thingy, do we need to install it separately? Does a standard WMP v.9 come with vobs? what kinda media player works with it? How do you match the subtitles with the video motion? You see, I have a video file and a translation file in .txt format How do I change that .txt into the .srt file and what player do I use to watch a subtitled video? Why do I need a muxer if I wanna burn it into VCD? Can you give me any suggestion where to start from? Sorry, Im not good with these things

I'm completely bewildered with your terms: mux & MKV container. Is it a kind of software u use to insert a subtitle? _________________

it's easier as you might think. XD
the hard part is that you need a programm to creat a srt or saa file.
i will contact you via pm. you can add me on msn if you want. i will help you with your subs.

I use BSplayer.
That's really easier!!
You open a file and with drag & drop you put the subtitles in it.
And the subtitle don't need the same name as the video!
You see? It's really easy!!
@ houko
hai this will work too. but bsplayer -_-*
ok i won't say anything more.
and i guess we need some more information about the txt document ryuusei mentioned.
does your txt-document look like this:
