I bought boku dake no Madonna, have not finished it yet but it's been fun. I heard Motokare was suck big time..because of the ending?! So this means it's not worth buying then.

I've no idea why...but after I watched Madonna it seemed that the plot was just plain and simple, and there was no thrill there though some scenes have funny and witty moment. And the story is just too predictable. However, I still enjoy watching it. |

Why Moto Kare got more awards? Simple, it was the most talked about out of the three. Everyone was debating whether or not Ryoko Hirosue or Rina Uchiyama will be with Domoto Tsuyoshi...so more hype, the better the drama seems, the more awards. [HATED THE ENDING THOUGH!]
As for the doctor one....do you mean Blackjack ni Yoroshiku? I liked that one...I saw it when it was coming out and recently I'm rewatching the KIKU broadcast of it. That got more awards simply because, I think, it was the highest rated for it's season and Satoshi Tsumabaki is being heralded as the next big thing after that show. Besides Madonna, TV ratings wise, was okay.
But didn't Takizawa Hideaki get best actor...or was it Satoshi Tsumabaki? |

I watched both, madonna seems to be plain and predictable, some ppl claim it's funny, but humours never been my sense, it must be really funny to get into my mind or else 'oh alright'.
Motokare was kinda interesting though, like someone said, ppl was thinking who dohmoto will ended up with, more curiousity, and ryoko+rina combo is always a plus by it self, I call it "Win by default" 
But this is just my opinion though, other's might be different |

So basically madonna lost because of hype and star power.
Uhm does any here know about the incident of how NTV of japan tried to rig the ratings for some of their shows/doramas.
Not sure how true is this but i think i read it somewhere.
Their shows must have flopped badly if they needed to do this. |
