If I can offer my opinion--by all means, watch RC2. The major character's roles become even better. Tony and Takeshi are especially fine to watch. I really enjoyed it. Took the husband who after sitting through both parts said it was "awesome"--he particularly liked Zhao Wei (Princess Sun).

Don't know the Japanese title--it's "Chi Bi" in Chinese. I bought both versions on ebay. Here's the link:

There is a rather nice photo of Takeno on the Osawa Takao thread. Rather fancy he and Osawa must have been rivals for the girl in the photo..... film or drama..not sure. Great pics of Osawa. Be still my heart. Peg
