Deirdre blinked her eyes open and looked around the room.
“So you’re finally awake.”
Deirdre turned her head and saw a person dressed in white, moving around the room and checking the gauges and numbers on the many machines surrounding her bed.
“Where am I?” Deirdre asked weakly, trying to sit up.
“There, there dear. Don’t try to move, you’re hooked up to alot of tubes and cords.”
“What is this place?” Deirdre asked clearly confused.
The woman smiled at her. “You’re in an intensive care unit at Detroit Receiving Hospital.”
“How, how long have I been here?”
“You were brought in Saturday afternoon. You were unconscious. All your vital signs dangerously low.”
“Wha, what happened to me?” Deirdre asked.
Suddenly, Deirdre’s husband appeared by her beside. “Honey, I thought we’d lost you.”
Deirdre looked at him. “What happened to me, Ted?”
Her husband bent closer. “I don’t know babe. You came home from the post office all excited over some package from your friend in Greece―someone named Yutakagr. Then you disappeared into the house. I found you a few hours later passed out in front of your laptop. There was some kind of slide show on the monitor―hundreds of pictures of some gay looking Japanese guy.”
“He’s not gay” she said weakly. “He’s beautiful……all those pictures. All that beauty…..those lips, the dent in that chin…the silky…hair…..” Deirdre’s eyes rolled into the back of her head and she slumped back on the bed.
Suddenly buzzers and beeps start going off and the nurse yells the code for emergency. There is a flurry of activity as the medical personnel try to stabilize Deirdre. The doctor grabs Deirdre’s husband by the arm.
“We’re doing everything we can, but you must keep her in a Yutaka-free zone. Any pictures of him could cause her to relapse. Her poor body simply overloaded on the photos her friend sent….”

Elsa, thank you so much for the link. I didn't understand a single word of his interview but regardless of what he's saying, he comes across as thoughtful, gentle, just so sweet. I think I fell in love all over again. What a lovely person--what a lovely man!

Yuta looks so natural holding this precious baby. Doesn't he look as though he's ready to be a Daddy? This man has such heart--I hope he finds someone to share his life. I hate to think of him being alone and lonely. (and don't I know that every one of us looking at this photo and sighing and thinking in their fantasy that this is their baby!! Happy dreams!)

Year Deirdre.
He looks ready to be a a daddy,an adorable one....but I think he said he has a good life ,being alone and although we think he is ready,he isn't yet.
(Isn't yet?he will never be...he isn't 25 anymore.ok he isn't an old man either but...if he decides to get married at 65 and get a 25 year old girl....then....he won't have any kids ever)
