Nagase Tomoya and Takeuchi Yuko were great. The rest of the cast was great too. Yuko's acting was amazing. The funny and emotional moments are timed perfectly. A very interesting story line.

I am recently interested in this drama, Mukodono. But, since I just watched Dekichatta Kekkon, and to me the story are pretty much the same, I hold back the will to buy this drama, for some time now ^_^
For those, who have watched Mukodono AND Dekichatta Kekkon, which one do you think is better?? Moreover, for those who LIKE Dekichatta Kekkon, do you like Mukodono?? Coz, I'm a fan of Dekichatta Kekkon and would like to hear from fans who have the same taste =P

I have watched both Mukodono and Dekichatta Kekkon. The story lines are not the same. I like Mukodono better. I know many Hirosue Ryoko and Takenouchi Yutaka fans will disagree but I think Mukodono's acting performances and the script is better. You should get it.

heheh...syafa, every people have their own opinion, u can't just change someone's opinion ^_^ like me....I don't like Kyoko Fukada =P Can't explain the reason, if u just don't like 'em you just don't...oh, wait..maybe Kyoko's voice annoys me >_<
But, I like Ryoko Hirosue!! I like her since I watched Beach Boys! But, my friend said...Ryoko don't have a pretty face, she said her face looks weird...wha---??? Oh, well..its her own opinion anyway...I think Ryoko looks prettier in Shotgun Marriage! Her acting skill also improve...I like her in this drama! And pretty compatible too with Yutaka Takenouchi!! They're so cute together^^
Okay, now I have TWO choices : Mukodono and Risou no Kekkon/Ideal Marriage(starring Yutaka and Tokiwa Takako), I'm still confused which one I should buy, coz I only have money to buy one of them >_<
which one of these you think is better.....and, can anyone give me a review on Risou no Kekkon?? Is it good?

Buy Mukodono first. Check out Nagase Tomoya's portrayal of this cool-dude lonely singer alternating between a mushy-mushy lovey-dovey and sometime crude husband. Ratings 9/10 for comedy value.
Risou no Kekkon is hilarious. Yutaka and Tokiwa's acting superb (and they were both so young). And my, my Yutaka looked like a nerd in this drama. The funniest scenes in this dorama is the on going fight between the two oka-sans, who both think the other party must kow-tow to the other. My rating for its comedy value 8/10. |

hmm mukodono! is v. nice! i love the song yuichiro sakuraba (nagase) sings in the show ("hitoribocchi no haburashi")!
for me, my personal favourites are when yuichiro turns from a megastar cool-guy sakuraba into a countrybumpkin-like arai and vice versa... his boss and manager are also funny |

WAAAHH!!^O^ You guys are right! MUKODONO is one great show!! I laughed out loud on the ridiculous scenes and I cried on some VERY touching scenes!!
And, yes!! My favorite part is everytime Yuu-chan turns remotely to Sakuraba Yuuichiro or vice versa ^_~ Soooo funny! Yuuichiro and Sakura is, indeed, one of the cutest couple! I like their cutest and touching scenes!
I cried when Sakura yells out, "I'm Sakuraba Yuuichiro's wife!!!" then suddenly a voice answers, turns out to be Yuuichiro and they hug and kiss each other ^_~ Also on the very last scene when he apologize to the fans...
I admit the story developed more than Dekichatta Kekkon(Shotgun Marriage)!
However, I give it 8.5 out of 10 while Dekichatta Kekkon is a 9 out of 10 =P I don't know whether it's because I'm a fan of Yutaka and Ryoko or that I watched DK first or its just the way it is. But, DK seems more appealing to me^^
Although Mukodono's themesongs are great and I like them, I enjoyed DK's themesongs more(not to mention the fresh and unique kind of background musics ^_^). I also like DK's atmosphere better. And, lastly...to me, Mukodono's ending is a bit heavy-handed...I like and satisfied with DK's ending more!!^^
Acting performances?? One word : SUPERB!!! Mukodono's casts are just as superb as DK's casts!! Undoubtly, I say Nagase Tomoya's performance is actually up there equally with Yutaka and Kimu-Taku ^____^ Gee...Japanese actors and actresses are really good!^^
Anyway, thank you, minna-san for recommending MUKODONO! I -sooooo- don't regret it ^_~

Thanks 4 your opinion.I think a lot after reading your message.thanks again.well,about your choices, mukodono is better, not only better, but it's the best of all(maybe).i really like the part where yuchiro(nagase)
