An all around excellent acting performance. Wakui Emi and Takeda Tetsuya were amazing. Very touching at times but the ending makes you feel good. Get a box of Kleenex ready! You will cry. There are a few very touching moments in the dorama! Go get it! A 10 Stars drama.

Hi hi!
I don't post here often but I just finished Virgin Road so I just had to post! Virgin Road is SO good, maybe even a classic. I highly recommend watching it. Being in the U.S. I don't have access to many doramas. This is one of my faves :)

| This is a love story with two person from very different background. I think a kid will not understand the moving scenes. |

It was voted #1 drama of 1997 and this story will touch you and probably might make you cry.
This is about two person with very different background met and fall in love, but they have to go through a lot of difficulties. No S*x scenes! |

Hi
Initially I watched this dorama because Sorimachi was in it...the first episode, I though that it was an old dorama..(probably due to image potrayed by Wakui Emi)..but in the middle of the episode..the story really touched me...who would have though???
As I got the rest of the episodes...trust me...you really need a box of Kleenex this dorama really capture Sorimachi's talent as actor..BRAVO to both the lead actor and actress ..and DOUBLE BRAVO for the "Otosan" (I'm not sure the actor's name)...this is a must watch story...the first time I saw Sorimachi so gentle and vulnerable (unlike his role in other doramas)...highly recommended if you ask me! |

| i recommend it too... nice story with some great performances. not too melodramatic, it has some humour in it here and there. Personally i liked sorimachi's performance in here alot. Also like his relation with wakui's father. |

Virgin Road was barely watchable. Got annoyed by the wishy washy actress, couldn't make her choice! "Kinpachi-sensei" was good. The story flow was draggy. Annoyin music (played at least twice each ep )! Predictable. Not GTO guy's best performance, don't expect it.
Go for other series! Dun watch this one! |

| It's a great drama. If you love romantic love stories, Virgin Road is one of the better ones in my opinion. |

| I love this show, I'm watching it right now, but for those who have gotten the thesog release, can you tell me if ep. 5 is short, or is something wrong? Oh and Sorimachi rules. |

| I have the series and I don't think anything is wrong, but some epsidoes are longer and some are shorter. Like the episode after #5 is long, and episode #5 is short. |

| Thanks, I find it odd though, especially all of the other dramas I've seen so far have been an hour exclusively, even the ones that show here that are raw. |

| Blame it on cheap HK copies. They call them DVDs but they look more like VHS transfers to me. And they split episodes in the wierdest places. |
