Hear any news regarding your Star ur idol In Japan Entertainment indsutry..[Jmovie,..Jpop,..Jdrama ] lately..?

Taken from Japan zone
The Return of Sonny
Chiba Shinichi (64), better known as action star Sonny Chiba, is enjoying something of a revival in his home country. He appears in the new Quentin Tarrantino film "Kill Bill" and has been busy doing TV appearances to promote the movie. The director and star Uma Thurman have also been in town. Chiba is a relative unknown for younger Japanese, though he was a peer of Bruce Lee and a pioneer in Hollywood martial arts movies way before Jet Lee or even Jackie Chan. Tarantino has called him "the greatest actor to ever work in martial arts films!" Sanada Hiroyuki, one of Japan's most talented movie stars, got his start as a protege of Chiba
*As one of old Jmovie star..hhe also appear in Jdram Dekichatta Kekkon*

A wedding date has been announced for kabuki actor Ichikawa Somegoro (photo, 30). He will marry Seki Sonoko (31), the daughter of a wealthy family, in Tokyo on November 26. 800 people have been invited to the hotel reception. Ichikawa is the son of actor Matsumoto Koshiro (61) and brother of actress Matsu Takako. • Poet Tawara Machi (40) was recently photographed by a gossip magazine attending a maternity clinic. The unmarried Tawara has refused to comment on whether she is pregnant. •

The inaugral "Best Kitchenist" award has been given to former Morning Musume member Ishiguro Aya (25). The latest in a long line of ridiculous awards goes to to the personality who looks best in the kitchen! Ishiguro quit MM in 2000 to mary former Luna Sea drummer Shinya (33). Holding up the men's side was TV personality Gutch Yuzo (51).

Takky as chairman in "toubousha
Takky & Tsubasa's member Takizawa Hideaki (21) will be leading in Tokyo
Teikouku Theatre's "Magical Musical 'Dream Boy'" in next year January.
The youngest person to ever be in the same theatre as the chairman was Kinki
Kids's Doumoto Kouichi (24), who was 21 back then when he first started
his musical "Shock". The story is compiled together by Johnny's Company
President Johnny Kitagawa. The story is about an ex-boxing world champion
who got involved in a murder case and became a fugitive. The musical was
claimed to be really spectacular. The theme song will be made by Kouichi
and Takky will try to compose the song as well. KAT-TUN members and Johnny
8 will also participate in this musical. For the musical, Takky is in
intensive
training now. It's been 4 years since he performed in his last musical
"Mask". "Toubousha" will start showing on 1-8 through 1-31 with 36 shows
scheduled.

Exile sings Zoo's famous debut song

An R&B six men group, Exile will release their first "4 consecutive weeks
single release" single in November with the cover song from a dance group
that was dibanded 7 years ago, Zoo's famous song "Choo Choo Train". Exile's
leader, Hiro (34) is the one who came up with the idea of re-releasing their
famous song since he used to be a member of Zoo. They sang that song during
an outdoor live event "a-nation" this summer and received a very positive
feedback. As a result from the fans, they decided to re-release this song
again. The promotional video will include both Exile members and Zoo
members.
Only 5 of 9 Zoo members were able to show up in the protmional video.
In the video, there is a scene where they were all having a party and they
even performed a lion dance. Usually, past songs that are revived are
usually
re-arranged from the original. But, this time, they will keep the original
song of "Choo Choo Train" to as close to original as possible. According
to Hiro, "it's the best when members of Zoo and Exile dance together. The
kids in the PV were dancing, and this dancing continues to thrive, we should
re-recognize such awesome culture."

I am really happy to receive the MVP for the first time." The entire 6
hours

SMAP member Kimura Takuya (30) will be in a new Fujitsu's PC "FMV series"
the 11th TV CM "nandeme dekiruda version" (I can do anything version) will

World Class Crystal
Singer Crystal Kay is to make her 'world debut.' The ten tracks on her upcoming eponymous album are all in English. It will go on sale in Asia next month and later in the US and Europe. The teenager, who has an American father and Korean mother, was born in Yokohama and is currently attending the American International School in Tokyo. She is scheduled to sing the US national anthem at the NBA game to be held at the Saitama Arena on November 1.

Kurosawa Yuu (21), grand-daughter of the late Kurosawa Akira, has given birth to her second child. She is married to Sophia vocalist Matsuoka Mitsuru (32). Her parents, movie producer Kurosawa Hisao (57) and TV personality Hayashi Hiroko (44), divorced in July.

Norika's New Flame
Actress Fujiwara Norika (32) has a new love in her life. She broke up with actor Kato Masaya (40) earlier this year and is now seeing Skoop On Somebody vocalist Take (34). The two have been friends since the mid-1990s but their relationship changed after Take divorced at the beginning of this year. Norika and Kato split up this spring after four years, reportedly due to Kato working long-term in Los Angeles. Take has a lot in common with his predecessor, being tall, handsome and, like Norika, a native of the Kansai region.

February 25, 2004:

Actress Mizuno Maki (33), once chosen in a poll as the woman men most want to marry, is engaged to lawmaker Gotoda Masazumi (34). The couple have known each other since they were university students but it was only six months ago that Mizuno broke up with an advertising executive she had been expected to marry. Her image as the ideal wife is often used in TV commercials, and was only enhanced when she started going to a Tokyo cookery school in 2001. Her agency say she is scheduled to work through this year and a wedding date has yet to be decided.

February 24, 2004:

Abe Natsumi, who recently "graduated" from the pop group Morning Musume, is to make her debut in the lead role of a drama series. She will play the blind heroine in NTV's Saturday night series "Koinu no Warutsu" (Puppy Waltz). With the much-hyped upcoming release of the movie "Quill," seeing-eye dogs seem to be the theme of the year so far.• Soulful duo Chemistry are on a roll. Their 4th album has gone straight to No.1 on the Oricon chart, which puts them in a tie for 2nd for male artists with consecutive chart toppers following their debut. Suntory Whisky is using the track "Meaning of Tears" in its upcoming TV CM, the 8th commercial tie-up from the album.

February 23, 2004:

Singer Koizumi Kyoko (photo, 38) and her actor husband Nagase Masatoshi (37) filed for divorce yesterday, their ninth wedding anniversary. The news was announced late in the evening on their respective fan web sites. They said that they remain on good terms but have become more like "cousins" than husband and wife. They also announced that have been separated for the last two years and there will be no alimony settlement. "Kyon-Kyon" was one of the top "idol" singers of the 1980s while Nagase is a highly regarded actor who appeared in the 1989 Jim Jarmusch movie "Mystery Train."

Popular young actress Yuka (23) was recently photographed by gossip magazine Friday out for a romantic drive with equally popular young actor Tsumabuki Satoshi (23). The pair, who are both with the big Hori Pro talent agency, have been reported out at restaurants and cafes together, though a romance has yet to be acknowledged. Yuka has previously been romantically linked with V6 popster Okada Junichi (23) and Matsumoto Hitoshi (40) of the comedy duo Downtown.

Oscar-nominated actor Watanabe Ken (44) is to play a villian in the 5th Batman movie. Provisionally titled Batman: Intimidation, it will star Christian Bale as the masked avenger, Michael Caine as his butler and Watanabe as Ra's Al-Ghul, the immortal head of an international crime syndicate. The movie is to be directed Christopher Nolan, the man behind the excellent "Memento." Production is set to begin in London next month. Watanabe is waiting to see if he can clinch the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in "The Last Samurai." Winners will be announced on Monday morning, Japan time.

"Innocence," the new animated feature by director Oshii Mamoru, is to go on general release in the US later this year. The film is set to open in Japan on March 6th and in the autumn in ten US cities including New York. Oshii is best known for the 1995 classic "Ghost in the Shell". The new movie deals with a similar SciFi theme - how people interact with robots and cyborgs. There is also the possibility that the movie will be entered in the competition section of this year's Cannes Film Festival.
