I found both profiles of 1 person in this Jdorama site. Her filmography seemed to be broken into 2 periods... what a waste..

jules, I really have no idea why she changed her name. I would take a guess its for cosmetic reasons. Rio Matsumoto is far more unique and thus a better name for artist.

Is there any way that we can merge her 2 profiles here?

hmm...I don't really think she's mixed. There seem to be quite a few that look though...Is it the eyes? My sister said that sometimes Japanese do something to their eyes to make them look more western... Doh!

i agree it is the eyes, that make it obvious that they are mixed, i personally think she and Mayuko Iwasa are mixed. Some have cosmetic surgery to their eyes to make it more western, and you are not rambling at all, more talk and postings with pix/info for this thread, the better it is. Thumbsup

Actually I'm pretty sure its Kimura and Takeuchi Yuko who worked together in Pride.
