I'd watch 'em if I had cable/dish... I just watch the races they broadcast on regular TV... But not NASCAR or that Indy Car stuff. |
Oh that's cool. I didn't even know they showed F1 coverage on standard broadcasts.

Only a few races, typically the ones in North America or Europe.

Right on. Still that's cool. I was unaware they covered F1 on our air waves.

I think they showed more races when we had several venues here in the States...
And ABC used to always show the Monaco race... The crown jewel race of Formula 1.

Maybe because it's the wrong foot.

Lots of SCCA drivers use both feet, left foot heel-toe the brake and clutch

Really?
Never heard of left foot heel-and-toeing...
Wiki time.

Been watching Grand Prix (1966) with James Garner, Yves Montand, and Toshiro Mifune.
They dubbed Mifune's voice when he spoke English.
Some great racing footage, even though the cigar-shaped cars are quite dated: no aerodynamics, grooved bias-ply tires (they look like regular passenger car tires), no safety equipment, etc.
Only halfway through the movie, but I've spotted Phil Hill, Juan Manuel Fangio, Graham Hill, and Jochen Rindt...
