i know how u feel thats what i said when i first herd he was g4hhay " hell no he aint gay" i think nhk did a story on it . ps Kens bar sucked , he shuld stick to r n b thats what he masters in but still hirai ken is wicked.

I really love "Ken's Bar;" I even bought the piano book based on that album! Being able to play the same tunes myself is ultimately rewarding!!!!!

Is there any news about upcoming single/album/concert/anthing from Hirai ken?? i just wondering since I haven't got any news about him recently.

I think I found it hidden in a music section in a Shinjuku department store. It wasn't even on the shelf. I had to ask the cashier with my limited Japanese.....no pain no gain i guess.

Minna, just bought Hirai Ken's Utabaka Limited Edition. I have to say that eventhough I already have ALL of is singles, but I still recomend UTABAKA to all hirai ken's fans. The packaging's great, and the pv dvd's really good. You really can see the transformation of Hirai Ken from his debut up until now (the latest one is Pop Star).

Now I;m waiting for my saitama final concert dvd. I think it's gonna be great..

Hmm, does anybdy has seen Pop Star PV? It's very funny! I love the "three" ken, the way Hirai Ken act as those characters is very cute.. ^^

Oh yes! It was a real kick to watch all the MVs for his singles!

His characters in Pop Star are very cute~ I quite like the older Ken as well.

Yup! I like the older Hirai Ken, really funny. I also like the "Mascot", when I first watched it, I never realize that those Hirai Ken "replicate" will also on the mascot!

Btw do minna-san watch Hirai Ken's performance ont Music Station?? And I'm curious why he didn't sing on FNS this year..

Used to watch MS when it was shown in Singapore. Now that it's not, i'm missing out on many things!

One performance i liked him in was the episode of SMAPxSMAP where Goro pretended to be Ken. That was hilarious! A very funny episode.

the SxS SKIT! OMG, it's sooooooooooo funny! Which SxS skit that you mean? Beacuse as far as I know, goro pretend to be Hirai Ken twice. First one with rakuen as background song. Goro use some big wig, and in Love Award, it's previewd that the wig was fall off.. And the second one, still in Love Award, Goro eat in sushi resutoran, and when he's pretend as Hirai Ken, suddenly the real Hirai Ken came and eat the sushi. Goro was very shocked...!! Nobody told him that the real Hirai Ken will come... After the shooting session, goro with full of respect greeted hirai ken ^^

And also I love the utaban, when Takuya pretend as Ken Hirata. He sang Donguri goro goro but with Ken style in Ookina Furudokei PV. I swaer Kimura-san's acting as Hirai Ken REALLY GOOD!!!

Ken is awesome, I first heard him a long time ago, when the song "Strawberry Sex" was out. He's got some of the best vocals in J-Pop in my opinion.

Did Ken Hirai write his song, "Hitomi wo Tojite?" I know there's a mandarin and cantonese version ("Wo Ke Yi" , and I don't know the name of the Canto version) but I was just wondering if Ken's was the original one. Thank you!
