He'll never be a "great" QB, but he's a solid NFL pro, and if he keeps it together he's got enough talent around him to be productive.
Trent Dilfer was the starting QB of a Super Bowl championship team. A lot of fine QBs---Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Jim Kelly, Boomer Esiason are recent ones who come to mind--can't say that.
Dilfer is experienced, tough, and resilient. Just what a young football team needs.
Would've been nice if they had played the game in Green Bay. It took over 90 minutes to drive home from work because of all the football traffic. More than an hour of the drive was within 1 mile of the stadium. 482 to 183 to loop 12 ... what a mess.

In a fitting development, considering all that's gone on this season, #2 WVU blows their second chance at this season's title in the "Backyard Brawl" game vs. Pitt.
#1 Missouri is dangerously close to blowing their game against Oklahoma as well. (Though, Missouri, were actually underdogs going in, unilke heavily favored West Virginia.) _________________

They're past dangerously close: they're getting blown out, 38-17, by the Sooners.
LOL, the BCS computer is getting a major workout this season.

Well, with all the crazy stuff that's happened, I didn't want to prematurely state that they had blown their chance, while hope for a comeback still existed. Now, they are offficially done, too.

Hawaii pulls back to within 7 at the half. If they can stop fumbling in the second half, perhaps they can still protect their undefeated season.... _________________
