Trent Dilfer was the starting QB of a Super Bowl championship team. A lot of fine QBs---Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Jim Kelly, Boomer Esiason are recent ones who come to mind--can't say that.

Dilfer is experienced, tough, and resilient. Just what a young football team needs.

Folks,
Tonight's big football game between the Cowboys & Packers will not be televised on regular or cable TV.

You have to have a cable or satellite TV provider that carries the "NFL Network".

Apparently 66% of the cable and satellite providers in the USA do not offer the NFL Network.

Unfortunately, my cable provider is one of the ones without, so time to hit the local sports bar.

Cheers,
PCM

Would've been nice if they had played the game in Green Bay. It took over 90 minutes to drive home from work because of all the football traffic. More than an hour of the drive was within 1 mile of the stadium. 482 to 183 to loop 12 ... what a mess.

At least the Cowboys won. Applaud

In a fitting development, considering all that's gone on this season, #2 WVU blows their second chance at this season's title in the "Backyard Brawl" game vs. Pitt. Bonk

#1 Missouri is dangerously close to blowing their game against Oklahoma as well. (Though, Missouri, were actually underdogs going in, unilke heavily favored West Virginia.) hehe

They're past dangerously close: they're getting blown out, 38-17, by the Sooners.

LOL, the BCS computer is getting a major workout this season. Beaten

Well, with all the crazy stuff that's happened, I didn't want to prematurely state that they had blown their chance, while hope for a comeback still existed. Mr Green Now, they are offficially done, too. Nut

What a season. Shocked hehe

Now if only something like that would happen to the Patriots.

Or the Plowboys.

Ugh, I'm so depressed! Oklahoma's defense was good, Missouri played like junk, couldn't do shit in the red zone...

Hawaii pulls back to within 7 at the half. If they can stop fumbling in the second half, perhaps they can still protect their undefeated season....
