hmm..not on the main one, but I remember a very hard to recieve station that showed a medely of items that were mostly asian in origin, like historical Japanese samurai dramas or news from Hong Kong. Plus I'm sure it doesn't help that I only saw one show (or part of one) a very ling time ago. Puppy Dog Eyes

Hello everyone,

I have been looking for this one drama that Ive seen several years ago for a while.

All I can remember is that it is about a woman that move(d/s) to Tokyo and hopes to find a job. But she is always turned down.

When she is about to lose hope finding one, she gets accepted as an assistant to some kind of office, which I believe is photographing or modelling.

Instead of helping out or being an actual assistant, the manager gets her to do modelling jobs which she actually does not want. Because of her natural beauty, she quickly becomes popular.. ending up high in rankings of model magazines, making other models jealous.

Anyone? I think it is a longshot...

hello everyone,
this is such a long shot... i watched this drama 10-15 years ago not sure

i honestly do not know the name of actor and actress

the main actress has a tomboy hair cut and character - she's not pretty more like cute.

she works in a balloon shop - that do cute balloon into shape at event
and she has a crush on main guy who work at office-
they do not work at the same place ... my memory is really vague i cant remeber much...
but he likes someone else who is pretty..but later he learns to appreciate her more.
i missed the ending and still hang in the back of my mind till this day!!!!!!

omg.. i really like the drama but honestly cannot remember anything...

the main point is the balloon shop that the main actress works and she has a really really short hair cut like michelle williams haircut.

if anyone remember anything please let me know....

i still has hope up till this day and it has been more than 10 yrs already..

This might be a long shot too...
been racking my brains off trying to figure it out so i even made an account here so maybe someone can help me Fingers crossed

im thinking it is a mystery drama ...
no one could figure out who the criminal was.. but in all the cases a **butterfly** marking? was involved (not really sure)

im might be getting confused with other dramas but i really think ayumi hamasaki or utada sang in the ending theme song. im thinking it's voyage, but can't really find anything from googling japanese drama ayumi hamasaki ending theme.

And its an old drama possibly from 1999-2006. It aired in the states.

yeah... totally a long shot but girls gotta try lols

Oh Gods of J-Drama I besesch you! Bow I require your aid in finding a drama that I have little to no knowledge of except for this one scene I saw:

In a hospital, two parents of a little girl receive the latest status update of their daughter's condition. The girl (being around 3-5 years old) crawls to the edge of her bed and asks her parents "if she will be ok?" over and over. At that point all the couple could do was cry. (I believe the parents were told that she would never walk again.)

-100% sure its a J-Drama
-I believe I saw it around these scene somewhere in-between 2005-2009
-I'd say more but the memory is very foggy at best, don't want to give wrong info but that one scene is clear as day

I watched a show when I was in high school Japanese class (approximately 1994-1996) that I have been searching the web and forums and unable to find the name of and was hoping somebody could help me here...

The general plot followed a group of students, starting just after their graduation from university, and showing them now in the workforce. It would have flashbacks to their time at University, where I think some of the guys may have been on a rowing or swimming team together, but the main point that I remember is that two guys liked the same girl, and they had a contest for who would pursue her by seeing who could stay underwater longer.

One of the guys had long hair and wore a leather jacket, one had a desk job with a suit and was depressed, and I honestly don't remember a ton else. It was being shown subtitled on public television in Washington State, and the teacher would record them and bring them to class. I'd love it if someone could tell me what the heck it was called and if it is available anywhere, because I really want to watch it again. Thanks for any help!!!

Hi, this is my first post. I can't figure out the name of a Japanese TV series that I watched a while back. It may have been 10 years ago or more.

The plot was a young businessman who lived with and was taking care of his much younger brother who was in grade school. I believe their parents had died. I don't remember too much of the plot other than it revolved around the young man and his office work and taking care of his younger brother who was being bullied.

I really enjoyed this show and was wondering if anyone knows the name of this series.

Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I think this is a quite well-known drama.

I'm searching for a series about a young guy who started working in kindergarten, but faced many obstacles, just because he was male.
Does anyone know the name of the series? Smile
