Ningen no Shoumei ("Proof of the Man") staring Takenouchi Yutaka and Yokoyama Megumi is about to start its run in Northern California and I was wondering if anyone had already seen the show.
And if so, and if you speak Japanese, would you be willing to write up a brief synopsis of the episodes?
This request would of course also go out to the Japanese speakers in Northern California who are watching it along with me.
This is a Sunday night show for us, so that means there won't be subtitles. But as it's a mystery, it figures to be a bit more difficult to follow than the average comedy or family drama.
I'm not talking about writing out a transcript of the entire show here. (Though if someone wanted to do that I wouldn't complain.)
Perhaps just a page or so per episode? |

Boy I hope Yutaka Takenouchi was sufficently brooding and attractive to grab (and hold) your interest Amrayu.
Because I think I'm really gonna like this show.
And I'm already a bit lost. |

Just checking.
On September 12th KTSF preempted episode #3 of "Proof of the Man".
I contacted KTSF and they told me TTV had arranged to show Ep#3 on Saturday night, Sept 18... but they didn't.
On Sunday Sept 19th, they showed Ep #4 in its regular time slot.
So the question: Did anyone else manage to find ep #3 running on KTSF at some other time? |

Rats.
I just got an Email from the folks at TTV and it turns out they broadcast ep#3 of "Proof of the Man" late night on September 11th, because they knew they were gonna be preempted on the 12th.
I must have simply missed the announcements.
I'll put this over at the KTSF thread as well, but here's a head's up on a schedule change at KTSF in mid October:
