For donations, its usually the problem of upkeeping these donations. Hosting costs come monthly and not one-time, so I'm still hunting for a good host, in terms of price, reliability and speed. _________________ @_@ <--- webmaster?

I wonder if Ruroshin might have a suggestion. I know he was having issues with finding an affordable host for D-addicts at least once, a while back. I'm not sure if D-addicts uses as much bandwidth as jdorama.com and it is a little different (forum and tracker)...

Yeah, probably not...it's finding a place to move to. But I figure we all just mean if the time comes and a donation is needed for the move Sweat

There's probably not really much point in donating right now if we don't even know what the status will be. Genma wouldn't take money unnecessarily Wink

I saw some people donating amounts already. Thanks! But issue here is, if I take up a heavy hosting package, donations usually won't last me. I've found a dedicated server solution at S$99 per month. Do you guys think its feasible for one? Donations for sure aren't enough though. =( Unless I get advertisers, which isn't too stable yet. _________________ @_@ <--- webmaster?

just a wild idea if donation still can't catch up the cost; y don't u charge for membership i don't like this one but it's the least i could think of

Don't intend to charge for membership. Lots out there can't afford or have no means for online payment. Anyway, I've got the webhost to agree to an extension of a few days for me to do the migration.. if there is any.. mmm.. _________________ @_@ <--- webmaster?
