I here this on the radio all the time (with 3 hr driving to/from work i listen to A LOT of radio), when a caller calls in they'd ask "which celebrity do you look like?" just to get a mental picture of the caller. It can be an asian star or a western celebrity, we just want to get a mental picture of you and how you see your self. (personally, i think the jdorama user Evil_Ryu looks like NBA's Tracy McGrady, IMHO)

Being that most asian stars are not that well known in the western world's media or general public, they would have no clue who these asian stars are. But in this forum, most of us can identify with whole hell of a lot of asian stars names. So i guess i can start this off:

when i go to JPN, i get a lot of complement on how i look like (and act like) Katori Shingo, and that was even before i knew who he was. From his bug-eyes to telling corny-a$$ jokes, i was him. Although he is a taller than I, he's over 180 cm, I'm at 175 cm. Still taller than a lot of JPN dude, but not as tall as shingo.

Anyone else?

I don't think I look like any celeb. I'm plain and boring looking so I don't think any celeb looks like me at all.

I was told once I look like a certain celeb that I absolutely despise and will not mention......but I don't even look like that person IN THE LEAST (different body type, face structure, eye color, everything). The person that said it was a retarded kid (literally) who worked in a supermarket I was shopping in. I also had no makeup on and was in Gap sweats and Tim's. At the time I was skeeved but it was really funny and random. Heheh.

People mistake me for Japanese a lot (I am chinese and german mixed). Strangely, I've been told I resemble Takizawa Hideaki a lot, even though I am MUCH taller than he is.

What do you guys think? My avatar is my pic, I can post more (if only the pic posting option is easier on jdorama)

LOL, I have to agree I don't look like Paltrow, hehehe. She's really skinny, blonder, tall, long neck, and uh...let's just say our eyes are different I used to think she was really ugly, but I've seen her look nice so I won't say that anymore I definitely don't think I look like her though...





I definitely don't look like Annabel Chong with blonde hair....I don't even know if some people here would even know who she is
