Elton,

It's sort of like an actress in Japanese Dramas hitting 30.

It's not fair... But for every Yamaguchi Tomoko that hits 35, there's an Aya ready to come off the bench.

"cause bidness is bidness."

I don't think you can compare Baseball to Football here. In baseball a player who is past it can still play. He only embarasses himself, and maybe he hurts his team's chances for a Championship.

The first name I thought of when you brought this up was Willie Mays.

To this day, I still think he was the greatest to ever play the game, but he humbled himself those last couple of seasons with the Mets (?)...

Yea Duncan is the epitome of what an NBA player should be like. Fundamentally sound, plays hard every game, great defense, and doesn't cause trouble. Take him out and the Spurs are next to crap but put him in and they win 50 games! Someone needs to give that guy some support! hehe

Right on, Duncan is the MAN. I didn't know there are a lot of NBA fans here also.

Right here, bud. Man, I love Ichiro, but the Mariners are pretty sucky this year... Sad

And don't get me started on that punk, Barry Bonds... I don't care if he passes Ruth and/or Aaron, he still ain't no Willie Mays. No one is.

Sort of. I haven't forgiven them for trading away Mike Piazza.

Oh, and I despise the Angels.
