Well you haters must be thrilled now: PJ is not coming back to coach the Lakes, and The Big Crybaby doesn't wanna stay if PJ isn't here to coach him. With those two gone, that might mean Kobe will remain a Laker, but the team will be decimated.

Interestingly, even if they won, PJ would've retired, and the same situation would've occurred. Oh well.

I heard about that on the radio.

Cool! Big Grin

Lakers suck anyway. Doesn't matter which way you cut the cookie.

No way. I'd rather root for the Clippers.

You're doomed, Laker fans. Doomed, I say!

*falls off chair*

Why couldn't they have just went with a high schooler Sweat

Not that I like any of the talent outside of Ben Gordon in this draft but seriously, I can pick players better than the warriors front office! Sweat

Elton,

Well, he is a High Schooler. It's just that his High School is somewhere in Latvia.

He's only 18 years old. And 6'11".

And aside from that... well, there is no aside from that, as far as I know, because that's all I know about him.

Never fear though. Mully's gonna fix everything. (I have to have faith in him. He's from my neighborhood back home.)

Yea it kind of helps that he's 18 so much room for improvement but I liked that swift kid from bakersfield. Local guy ya know Wink

And not that I want to be racist or anything but most good players are african american so it wouldn't hurt to choose one Sweat

I don't know, man.

African American players are the standard... but the fashion these days seems to be to take either a European player, or a High School kid.

We got two in one.

And just think! In just three or four years, we might even see him play!

They'll have to have broken up the Lakers by then, won't they?

Yea I would like to see this guy turn into a dirk nowitzki who by the way is the only player I ever predicted to be a bust and didn't turn out to be so I got much respect for him.

I don't think the W's really need anyone from the draft at the moment anyways so it's no big deal if this guy doesn't come through for us. I like J-Rich and I think he can lead us to the promise land. Given that Damp comes back and the W's use whatever cap room to get some nice pieces to the puzzle. But anyways, W's play great against LA so I don't have to worry about that hehe hehe

That was against Phil's Triangle Lakers. Don't expect that against a non-triangle Laker team.... Without that big, lazy Hershey Bar-eating, can't-make-a-free-throw doofus around, they can run a lot more...

Do I hate Shaq? For the most part, yes, 'cause he has no loyalty or commitment to basketball or the Lakers, it's all about him and only him...

Look at the bright side, this would officially usher the start of the George-Slava era.

Devean "Showtime" George would be franchise player for years to come, to be supported by Slava "The Shameless Gunner" Medvedenko.

That ain't gonna work. Firstly, I dn't think the Lakers can afford or want T-Mac. Secondly, Kobe doesn't want to fight over "touches" with T-Mac, if Kobe's still around. Thirdly, Shaq and T-Mac are buds, and that would be bad chemistry for Kobe. If he's still around. Rolling eyes

Trade Shaq to the Knicks for Houston, Mutombo, Moochie, Penny, Shandon and Othella Harrington. Smile
