Lakers trade aging guard Derek Fisher to the Rockets for forward Jordan Hill and lump on the bench Luke Walton to the Cavaliers for guard Ramon Sessions.

Let's break up this Laker thread.

I need a new team to watch this season!

My Oakland Warriors have finally decided to bite the bullet and fix the mess by the Bay. Bogut, an honest to goodness Center (albeit one with a broken ankle) was acquired. But it cost us our 2 guard, and our baby big man Udo.

So next season we'll have a big man for the first time in decades.

And since we have no big guy, the decision was finally made to sit Steph Curry, our Point Guard until his fragile ankles are fully healed.

So next season we'll have a point guard.

And this season? A team even a long time Warrior fan is having trouble watching.

Can't root for the Lakers. The Kings are laughable. The Clips are a fraud. And darn it... I just missed Linsanity by a couple of weeks. I still had a Wrrior team to watch while Linsanity was in full swing. But now that the Dubs are actually hoping to lose games... things have gone south in N.Y.

Do they play basketball in the middle states?

Beemer

Always on the cutting edge of technology, I finally figured out how to use the Kindle someone gave me, and it turns out, there were a few books I hadn't read yet. So TV and the computer sort of got shelved for a while.

But the silence was getting to me.

It's very nice to see that some old friends are still here, keeping things lively.

Lakers lose to the Rockets, 107-104... Bynum gets ejected after two technical fouls and probably cost the Lakers the game. Shake Head

The Kobe-less Lakers trounce the Spurs, 98-84.

Andrew Bynum had 30(!) rebounds in the game. Shocked
