Actually wasn't/isn't there a restaurant in Marina Del Rey called the Black Whale?

Did some Googling.... Went out of business in the 90's. Sweat

Any of you guys ever go to Marina Mago?

They had some fabulous Japanese eats along with their take out teriyaki chashu burritos... Drooling

Yup.

Closed up shop in 2000, I believe... The original sign, "Mago's Burgers," is hanging on one of the walls in the Japanese-American Museum in Little Tokyo. Smile

Ramen California Redux. Went there with my buddy for dinner last night Alpine Sausages with Gnocchi in tomato sauce Halibut Carpaccio with Black Lava Salt, Olive oil, and greens From their daily specials menu. Shrimp Wonton Ramen
