Nice! Yum! I just want to reach out and grab that Ikura & the Uni right next to it! Till this day I've never eaten at a kaitenzushi (conveyor belt) sushi restaurant. I just don't trust them over here with respect to quality...but I'm sure that's less of a concern in Japan, if at all!

Cool pictures.

Chiaki-senpai might have something to say about that. Beaten

Pollo A La Brasa, for lunch. Peruvian rotisserie chicken cooked over a wood fire by real Peruvians of Japanese descent. Cultural combo for the win. Smile

Check out the veritable fortress of hard wood used to fire the rotisserie! Shocked

The skin is packed full of flavorful spices which are accentuated by the smoke from the hard wood. The skin is crispy and the chicken is moist & juicy! Highly recommended.

Spicy Aji sauce is a must!

Had a nice lunch at Otafuku in Gardena, a Japanese restaurant that specializes in handmade soba.

Seiro Soba with Anago & vegetable tempura.

Ah, yes, seiro soba doesn't have the same color as the more ubiquitous zaru soba which has more buckwheat flour in it which gives it the darker color.
