Yup. It's more expensive then the lower quality meat but fortunately Mitsuwa sells meat in smaller quantities so you don't have to buy a lot. Just enough for a meal or two per tray.

Norwegian for "Hamburger?" Beaten

Lol. Close but not exactly they are like flat medium sized meatballs in the inevitable brunsaus/brown gravy. He adds onion and spices them nicely. I thought his mothers were tasteless. I didn't let her know though. Beaten
I ate several with glowing reviews. Victory! Peace!

Dinner at Musha a few days ago. It's been far too long!

Albacore Carpaccio with Garlic Jalapeno Sauce

MFC = Musha Fried Chicken aka Karaage

Ebi Mayo Mayo - tempura battered rock shrimp with sweet mayo sauce

Tan shio - Grilled beef tongue with salt

Beef and Garlic Croquettes - these croquettes had a shredded beef filling that was studded with whole chunks of garlic. Thin batter that was incredibly crunchy!

Baguette Gratin - French baguette stuffed with scallops, onions, and white sauce with melted cheese on top.

Yes, Sir. That's the only one I've ever been to. I heard the one in Santa Monica isn't as good, and I've never been to the one in Pasadena which opened last year.

Call me bias but the Torrance location one is the ORIGINAL one so I am partial to that one. In the same vein, the ORIGINAL Shinsengumi Yakitori, the one on Western Ave, I still think it's better than the other Shinsengumi locations that serve yakitori.

The cooks there are the most skilled in my opinion.
