Only one I was a bit surprised with is best actor. Didn't watch Kaibutsu-kun, but Ohno must have done a heckuva job to win over Abe......

Just wondering, but is there an awards show where the stars go to and they announce the winners and they come up and accept and say something? Probably not because they are so many awards about 4 given in one year. Thanks!

I would think the Japanese equivalent of the Academy Awards would be an example... Not sure if there's a Japanese Emmy awards show, though. Head Scratch

Yeah, probably the actors just get notified that they won and get nothing for it, just self pride that the critics etc. found their work better than all the others for that season. Cheers!
