I hope my comments didn't come off as disparaging to anyone, I think it is fine for people to list it as 14 episodes for trading, but there is a confusion between the number of episodes broadcast in Japan and the number broadcast for English viewers (which is where the rip I've seen came from). I blame the re-broadcasters for the confusion because they are the ones that chopped it up, not the traders.

I just read what the confusion was, and loris is correct. It is 12 episodes, with a longer first and last episode. Episodes are typically 54 mins long (including CMs) and so an 84 min episode will be cut up when it is shown here (to fit in a one-hour window with commercials). This was the case with this drama when aired on KTSF.

And, I also recommend this drama. I think it shows human nature at its purest form.

Thats weird.. it looks normal to me? Didn't have 2 young takumis.

I'm confused. Is the official website for a totally new series? According to the Wiki, it was broadcast in 2004, but there was one released over this past summer.

I wasn't sure either. It's the same address as the one in the credits.
I thought, maybe, it was a 6th series or some news, because I have no idea what's written.
I think I saw a couple of 2004 in the credits. Since it was subbed by KIKU, I don't think it's the same thing as the one on the web site, because they can't be that fast...

The link that Azumi provided is for the current series (Investigator Mariko 6) that just finished airing in Japan. I already pm'ed Akakage the info for 5 & 6 so she'll eventually put it up when she has some time.
