Shown on TBS now in Japan, the same slot with Good Luck and Suna no Utsuwa's slot times.
M no Higeki is interesting so far. We really cannot predict where the plot's going to, moreover the ending!
The impression I got when I watched this dorama, was....a Miracle World episode!!^^ Miracle World, or Yonimo Kimyou na Monogatari, is a FujiTV show about weird stories. M no Higeki's directing style reminds me a lot of this show....there's comedy, but in a dark atmosphere...so its kinda...creepy funny? Oh, reminds me of Yusuke Santamaria and Yui Natsukawa's Anata no Tonari ni Dareka iru (There's Someone Watching), too!
The introduction of
Mamoru Ando(Goro Inagaki)'s life since he was born, was quite funny, really cracked me up^^ He may not have the most perfect life since childhood, his family were having money difficulty, then his father died when he was 12, but due to his hard work, he manage to reach what he wanted in adulthood. He becomes an employee of a Japan Total Security Company, a very big security company. And also fallen in love with the boss' daughter, and they eventually engaged.
Until....a woman named
Misa Aihara(HaseKyo) comes into his life....
They met in a funny, yet weird situation in a train at night. Ever since their met, Mamoru's life got ruined piece by piece....
The unsolved puzzle till now, is when Misa said, "Dont you remember that our first met was not on that train?".
The most memorable line from this dorama, by Misa: Anata wo ikiru ryuu ni shitai... (I want to make you as the reason for me to keep living...)
This line was recited by a guest in
Goro's Bar recently, and Goro can actually naturally respond and react to that exactly similar with how he reacts in the drama^^ He must have a good memory, since the filming of that episode was 2 months ago^^
This line was also recited by Nakai, when SMAP guests in
Utaban, to promote their single, in a exagerrated funny way^^
Kyoko Hasegawa pull it off quite good, as Misa Aihara! There's this creepy air surrounds her^^; But at the same time, we can understand her sorrows. Sometimes, I'd like to slap her, but sometimes, I feel kawaii sou...^^; She'd show up evrywhere almost wherever Mamoru goes, and each meet, Mamoru must will be in trouble sooner or later.
She even make friends with Mamoru's fiancee....really, she's like a ghost!! x) And she is also emotionally unstable. Sometime she can become good, but sometime she'll become bad again.
Goro is always a good actor, for me, not an exceptional in this drama. He pulls off those expressions superbly, sometime cracked me up too^^ Althou my Goro best drama is Saimin(Hypnosis), but i have to say I love his performance as Mamoru Ando better, coz he is not the -always acting cool- type of man, the character is interesting to me! oh, reminds me of his geek character in Koi no Katamichi Kippu with Esumi Makiko^^ althou Mamoru is not a geek, but more or so have similarity, afterall both of these characters wears glasses^^
I really love the themesong,
"Night and Day" by Sister Q, which is a remake of Frank Sinatra's song with the same title. I love both the original one, and this R&B Japanese version! Cool remake!^o^
My prediction for the ending...hmm, since this is a dark dorama...i'd say someone might be dead^^ Most probably Misa....or maybe both Mamoru and Misa. OR....they'd left the ending puzzling and leave the viewers to interpret the ending with our each own opinion^^
