Anyway,I was wondering if someone had scans of Ryo Katsuji(All about lily chou chou, Battle royale 2 several doramas)?I'm in the process of making a fanlisting/fansite and I need more materials.Everyone will be creditied of course.

Ryo Katsuji to release first CD as an Enka singer

Katsuji Ryo will release his debut CD as an Enka singer named "Katsu Katsujiro."

Though he has released 2 digital-only songs before, this will be his first CD release.

His first single is entitled "Ofuro wa Nurume no Katsujiro" which is produced by scriptwriter Kudo Kankuro, and composed by Yokoyama Ken of Crazy Ken Band.

Katsuji's previous two songs were also produced by Kudo. Both songs were made from a popular segment in Kudo's radio program "Kudo Kankuro no All Night Nippon GOLD" in which Kudo collected 1 to 2 lines of lyrics every week from the radio listeners, and he made one song by connecting those lyrics.

The first song "Dragon Kidori no Teenage Blues", was released in March 2014 under the name "Ryo the graduater", and the second song "Geta wo Narashite September" was released under the name "Love-ji Ryo feat. Nakashima Mika" in October of the same year.

The new song "Ofuro wa Nurume no Katsujiro" is made in the same manner as the previous songs, but this time, it will be released as a physical CD for the first time. Reportedly, the previous 2 songs will also be included in this single.

Katsu Katsujiro's debut CD single is set for released on July 15.

Ryo Katsuji to appear in NTV Fall drama "Rental Kyuuseishu"

Katsuji Ryo will be appearing in the upcoming NTV Autumn 2016 drama "Rental Kyuuseishu" starring Sawamura Ikki which begins its run from 9 October in the Sundays 10.30pm timeslot. He plays the role of Kii Roy, an overly-excited mechanic who is the eldest son of a family which owns an electrical appliances store. Being known as the person who can fix anything, he is able to make some strange devices to help the lead character Akenabe Yuugo (Sawamura) in his work which sometimes involve following people and wire-tapping. Unknown to others, he actually has a huge problem while working in the Rental Kyuuseishu company.

Katsuji commented that as the title of the drama suggests, it is a story with a comedic touch but with a sense of reality since everyone would wish for some help when they are in trouble. Although it is often regarded that being patient and tolerant is a virtue of the Japanese, he finds that sometimes even a word of concern is enough to help those in need so he can identify with the theme of the drama.
