Synopsis
The basis of human is family.
This is an era where we hear about diminishing family ties and
news about killing of parents and children as if these are to be accepted
by society. The family bond seems to be from the past era and is
currently disappearing.
In order to rekindle the family bond, no matter how embarrassing it is to
talk about family ties at this moment, everyone does have love for their
family at the bottom of their hearts.
Aikurushii - a story about a family who lives in the suburbs where there
are not many material comforts.
Aikurushii - however, this is a family which does exist but forgotten by us.
A 7-member family passing time - growing up Laughing with friends until
the sun sets - friendship
Can you think more about your family and consider how to rekindle the
bond with the people around you?

Yeah watching it, find it very slow and boring 
Ichihara Hayato overacts and Ayase Haruka seems weak without
Yamada acting opposide her 
I don't think the illness of the mother is revealed.
That or I'm not paying enouph attention to the story

i've watched the 1st episode, looks like the mother had some sort of cancer or sometin......cus the subs did mention the word cancer....
well this is another story by nojima shinji, not much different from his past works, always deep and sad......  somehow i feel that sometin BIG is goin to happen... 
this drama has a big cast, still not sure who will be focused on more.......

Ichihara isn't over acting to me, his character is supposed to be like that, the character is a very hyper 3rd year highschool student...who wears a lot of US University Sweaters...lol...I saw one for Michigan and Missouri...lol
Ayase is doing good, her character's supposed to be clutzy, and she truly is, I was watching this one special TV show where celebs & audience are to stretch their way of thinking to get a valid answer for a question. The question that Ayase TOTALLY screwed up on was:
"A man was talking to his wife about how the police have just done a marajuana bust. All the policemen that were involved in the bust got a bonus (money), however only one got a steak.
Why is it that this one Policeman got a steak instead of a bonus?"
and the answer is:
The policeman was not human, but a dog.
And Ayase didn't get it, she just kept thinking things like the Policeman likse steak, and the host tried to give her the hint of "dog" but she went, "the dog's owner"... 
The Illness of the mother is revealed, but I think it's in teh 2nd episode, which I saw..It was something to do with her brain, maybe a cancer or something, I forgot...
Ichihara's so adorable in this one...and I finally got to see the movie he was in Lily Chou Chou, and now I like him even more as a talent~  And that little boy, is SO ADORABLE...awww he's such a good actor!!
