It was GTO that got me hooked on doramas and on him. And you're right, it is hard to find any info on him, so thanks for the link emiko.
So far I've only watched GTO, Fulltime Killer (really cool action film), and the total waste of time that was Fly Boys, Fly (Kimi wo wasurenai). This week I'm watching Hotman, and it's good so far. |
Then, u really gotta watch him in Overtime & Wonderful Life... He's great there..
Emiko Thanks for the link~!

Otoko-tachi no Yamato
n there are rumours that his daughter name's Yukino but no one can confirm about this and it's said that his daughter resembles Nanako a lot ^^ again, it was just rumours
about Fulltime Killer, I've watched it long time ago and IMO it's not that bad. It's quite good actually (well at least for me ) |
Thx for the clip , emiko!!!
Is his daughter name Yukino? kawaii name~* She must be cute like her mother! btw, my fav star,Takuya and Takshi, have been father already. Another still single. haha...

Thanks for the recommendation tInoltin , I've started hunting for these on ebay.
Has anyone seen The Thirteen Steps? I'm just wondering if it's worth buying on my next movie binge.

mondainai, your avator is so cute. Takashi's very funny. |
Thank you, I'm glad you like it! He's got a very expressive face, and it's one of the reasons I like him. I wanted an ava of him looking silly, and it sure wasn't hard to find
The Thirteen Steps (13 Kaidan) is for sale at CD Japan, and of course it's got Takashi in it! I thought I'd ask 'cause Japanese movies are so damn expensive, and I wanted to know if it was good before I dropped fifty bucks on it.
I was able to find this on the new movie http://www.twitchfilm.net/archives/003221.html. There's link to a trailer that doesn't tell me anything 'cause my knowledge of Japanese is really small
I just noticed that today is Matsushima Nanako's birthday! Omedetou Tanjoubi!
Ano, tInoltin, 57 days to what, if I may ask?

Yeap..today's Nanako's bday.. I wonder what Takashi prepares for her.. I heard that Takashi is kinda serious off-screen..and not like the goofy type we usually see.. So, i cant imagine what kinda stuff he'd do..
Hee.. the countdown is the days before my freedom.. end of my sorta O-Levels..

So he's serious in real life? Huh. I never would have thought that. I always thought you had to be a goof to be able to play one. Maybe he's more talented than I thought!
Anyways, this new movie has me interested. I'll dig for more info tomorrow

I've never heard about this movie before. What year was the movie? Does Takashi the lead actor?
Nanako's birthday today? Happy Birthday!! just know from you all. Takashi looks serious in the pics. Maybe he's intending in his newest movie to show his great performance. Ah~ I've started to wanna watch it.

Thanks for the screen shots maeda! Our guy Takashi's looking good!
More on Otokotachi no Yamato. The Yamato was a battleship built in 1940, during World War 2. At the time it was the largest and most advanced in the world. It was sank in 1945, with the loss of over 3000 men. The movie is about it's last mission and the sailors and their families. It sounds like it might be a little intense. The only war movies I've seen have been Hollywood ones, so I really want to see a Japanese one (besides Fly Boys,Fly which sucked). I didn't find anything on Sorimachi's role, but I found this with some of the history behind the movie.
@maeda The Thirteen Steps was made in 2003, and stars Sorimachi as an ex-convict who is helping an old prison guard prove the innocence of another prisoner. The little bit I've found about it says Sorimachi is really good in it.
Does anyone know of a Clubbox (I can't use bittorent) where I could get Overtime or Wonderful Life with English subs? I really want to see them now, and I'm just too impatient to wait for them to show up on ebay.

Thanks tInoltin! I didn't know Jem had a Clubbox.
I had to look up O-levels, we don't have them in Canada (I think), but they're important, so Ganbaru!! You're almost there!
And I've finished Hotman. It's almost as good as GTO, and I'll for sure watch it again.
