New dorama with Kamiji, Ishihara and Yada
This July actor Kamiji Yusuke (31) will tackle his first dorama starring role in Fuji TV's "Toubou Bengoshi", it has been learned today.
It will be a "human suspense" dorama about a fugitive lawyer falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit. While helping various people with their problems he is also on the search for the real criminal behind the murder he is being accused of. Kamiji will finally give up his image of a fool to play a lawyer in his first dorama starring role. "I have no doubt this will become the dorama I will never forget in my life," he said.
Two wonderful actresses are going to support him with his important step forward. Ishihara Satomi (23) will play the daughter of the senior lawyer that Narita (Kamiji) is accused of having killed. As a reporter of a weekly magazine she wants to reveal the truth behind the murder of her beloved father and chases after Narita. Yada Akiko (31) will play the secretary of a public prosecutor's office.
"Toubou Bengoshi" will start in July and air every Tuesday at 10pm on Fuji TV.
