Her performance in Shiroi Haru was pretty good and though I didn't like her role in Love Shuffle, Geez has given her good marks, so now she has her own thread. Victory! Peace! Mr Green

She's sure been busy in the last 2 years Bonk She's credited with being in Atsu-hime, but not listed on the drama page here. I don't remember her at all.. I guess there are a lot of ladies in kimonos in Atsu-hime though.

Finally! I was wondering why she didn't have her own artist thread here. I really enjoyed her role in Ashita no Kita Yoshio **foot massage** Mr Green She's been getting a lot of attention in Japan lately. Anyway, arigatou for starting this thread.

Ashita no, Kita Yoshio gets a very vocal recommendation from me. And not just for Yoshitaka Yuriko. The whole cast... the show, the script. It was really good.

My favorite Yuriko scene in the show was probably seeing her character (the fallen idol) trying to act in a drama. You really do have to be good to act that badly.

She received a lot of praise for her role in Hebi ni Piasu / Snakes and Earrings. Personally, I really didn't enjoy the movie, I just couldn't get into it. I thought the performance was typical Yuriko (if you've seen her work before, I think you'll know what I mean). However, if you really are a fan of Yuriko you need to see the movie cause some of the scenes are well... Naughty ...if you catch my drift. Victory! Peace!

Yup. While all the hype went to Change, Last Friends, and Rookies, Ashita no, , , gets my vote as best drama of 2008. Thumbsup

I think some people got turned off by the storyline, a guy decides to kill himself in 11 days. It also has Namase Katsuhisa, otherwise known as the "hair-challenged" detective from Trick. He is GREAT in this, but so is everybody else!

True, she is quite pretty, but none of the roles that I've seen (Love Shuffle, Shiroi Haru, Ashita no Kita Yoshio) have completely won me over...

Good. The last thing we need is 600 pages and 30,000 posts of the same pictures over and over again. bleh
