Although for the moment I am totally obsessed with Kusanagi Tsuyoshi and has watched almost everything he has appeared in... I have been watching "Suna No Utsuwa" (The Story of the Last Symphony) and am extremely impressed with Nakai Masahiro's performance. I always found him to be very funny and never would imagine him taking a serious role. The way he is playing the character Eiryo Waga, a young accomplished pianist who has a dark secret past, is truly breathtaking. And Yasuko Matsuyuki complements so well with him. I am still watching this show and cannot wait to finish it.

I have watched so many J-dramas and this by far is the one that keeps me glued to the television. Seeing "Suna No Utsuwa" I have a whole new respect for Nakai.

I have not seen "Mohouhan". Has anyone seen this movie? What is your opinion on it?

i agree with you 100% about that. i saw that show too and i could not get over it. i still can't. Nakai-kun's eyes were so powerful and intense fill with emotions. i cannot stop thinking about him.

you're talking about the movie called 'Moho Han' aka 'The Copy Cat Killer' i didn't see this movie but heard it is very scary. some people say it is boring because of the narrative structure and the back and forth of explaining some past scenes. but there are some people who like this movie. in general it is Nakai playing a crazed killer who makes announcement of going to murder and then acts it out. it is said the way his character murder people is scary. if you don't like violence or scary movie and like Nakai to be cute and sweet then don't watch this movie. because even though his character in Suna No Utsuwa killed someone. this character is very sensitive and emotional and makes you believe he really didn't want to kill. he just did it because he let his emotions get carry away. this character is more emotion and you feel empathy for him and kind of hard to hate him complete. i think Moho Han might make you not like him at all.

haha...

it isn't scary at all actually... Sweat Overall I find that the story is a little complicated... But then you still can get the gist of it.

I kinda like Nakai's role as Peace in the show, very calm at all times. And kakkoii of course... Bonk

3Peace...

Yay...a thread dedicated to Nakai...haha..I also love this guy..*Cough* I actually love all the guys in SMAP Beaten

I've watched Moho-han twice or more I guess since I bought the DVD.. Sweat He looked very kakkoii in that movie plus I'm very amazed of his acting skill as a manipulative, psychotic killer. He was seen as calm and intelligent. The movie itself was pretty interesting, and I should say it's different, oh well, it's J-movies and J-movies usually just different.

I'll post more mag pics when time permits... Mr Green

Hmm, the longest one has to be the main music "Shukumei"(the piece that Waga Eiryo played in his concert) which is around 12 minutes long. And yes, there are piano pieces an "Shukumei" is one of them. ^_^
