i only saw her first on Tiger and Dragon...then i got curious of her then i checked her out on Kou kou kyoshi and she's not that bad at all...then found out she's the girl in Hana & Alice....sugoi! she's one hellaofanactress! then i'm so happy to found out that she's the one who played as Hagu chan from Hachikuru movie! even thou she looks far away different from Hagu still she managed to portray the character justly her next movie is "Mushishi" another great anime turned to live action movie! sugoi!
i like her a lot! she's one of those young japanese actresses who can really act

Congratulations! I believe this is a legitimate new thread for Aoi Yuu.

I have also found her very dynamic and adorable. While I confess I have only watched a few of her works, namely "Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003", "Hana & Alice", and "Kame wa Igai to Hayaku Oyogu", she had been magnificant in all three very different pieces.

Keep up the good work!!

I have "Kame wa Igai to Hayaku Oyogu" in my archives if you are interested. Unfortunately it only has Japanese subtitles so you need to be a die-hard fan to go through it all...

It was a low-budget slapstick. I got it for the sake of Ms. Ueno Juri, Aoi Yuu was an added bonus.

She is close to Aoi Miyazaki does that mean they are close friends or in terms of acting she is close to A. Miyazaki...but for me she's far away better than A. Miyazaki...
