Agreed! I'm trying to learn Japanese, but I'm still ages away from where I can make much sense out of what is said.

I was very surprised when I started watching Gachi baka. At first, I thought it was another version of GTO, but it's different. I like the lead act; he's delivering a pretty strong performance despite the weak script. Gonta's a three-dimensional character thanks to that. (Not saying that Onizuka isn't 3-d, but he's too much above things.

Though, I've always wondered... what would happen if you'd stick Onizuka, Gonta and Yankumi into one school?

In any case, Gachi baka's definitly worth watching.

She's the only one I know of that wears a flower in her hair. I've seen her in a few episodes, but her name was said in episode 7. She was one of the students who bought the pills. She sits behind Kurokawa Tomoka. Anyway, here's a few caps.

we still don't know her name...but no problem with helping, i'm always a fan of beautiful japanese girls....and i see her as beautiful...although i have never noticed her until you brought her up.....kind glad you did...

not sure what her name in kanji/romanji is? , cause she can be in tons of gravure/j-mags right under our noses...and not know it...

I've searched the character name on google as Takako + Gachibaka but could never find anything. I'm pretty sure that's her character page though. Too bad she doesn't have a cast page on the site too since they break it down into a cast section and character section.

Things would be easier if IMDB had Gachibaka listed on their site
