Shameful Cry Although it's more of the editing (proof-reading).

Just noticed that the Ishihara Satomi pic is up.... You might want to change the font color or give the text a soft outline so that the text is more legible... Smile

I tried different font color, but so far only dark blue is somewhat readable. I someone has another idea... feel free.

Whatever colour works. I got frustrated with it near the end. If nothing works, I'll just edit the pic by giving it a darker hue near the bottom like we've done with Kimuras. That way text will show.

Are you using Photoshop?

For the text on my Juri-chan pic, I added the outline attribute to the text and then expanded and diffused the outline enough to allow the text to be readable... Smile

Just the pic is photoshop'd. We can't use text for it. Text is applied as a layer on top of the photo on this site. It's kinda annoying that we have to do it this way. Pout

There's no rule that says you have to do it this way is there?

If so, why? Head Scratch

You can easily do the layering and all in Photoshop... Why have a separate process? Head Scratch

I'm guessing it's so you can change the text without having to change the pic. Or so you can change the pic itself easily.

Yea, this is exactly why, I believe. The pic is a file that you upload. The text is inputed on the actual site.

Ooooooooh so B-san, is this why you were upset that I "edited" the feature for Juri? You thought I cut the text off? I always wondered. I didn't mean to. I had to.

You can do that in Photoshop as well...

Yeah I know, but not once it's uploaded to the website. You have to re-edit the text in Photoshop and then re-upload. It's designed for those who don't have Photoshop - or the original Photoshop file Smile

I don't remember.

If all the layering is done in Photoshop then one could take care of the text being lost in the image instead of what we have now... Sweat

Ehh, whatever.

It's not that easy. You then have the flatten the image each time, compress it each time, and upload it each time. Granted, all that takes only 5 minutes, but the way we have it now takes only seconds.

Yup. I don't write the rules. I just follow them.

But it's only done once... Can't say that I've seen the pics or text ever change once they're up... Beaten

Oh well.

Honto?! I've changed a few... Puppy Dog Eyes

Edit: O, but it's more along the process. Like finding spelling errors AFTER everything has been uploaded. Wink

I just noticed this: Shouldn't "Odagiri Joe" be "Odagiri Jo?"

I mean "Joe" isn't short for Joseph... Beaten

His own website lists his name as 'Joe', though. But if you're going strictly Japanese, then Jô would be better. IMDB has it as the latter...

Hmm, that's odd that his own site would list "Joe"... Head Scratch
