As someone stated many of the links don't work anymore, on page 1, that lists the different bt sites to check out. Now that In Heavy Syrup is closed where else is there that has that sort of stuff as In Heavy. I miss the variety shows that they used to have there. Any suggestions? I've been to PMMT but they don't have too many Arashi stuff, which is what I like.

I think what's going to happen is that the torrents will be split between the Public Morning Musume tracker and D-Addicts. The variety shows will go to PMM and the dramas will go to D-Addicts.

Are there any good Asian movie / drama bittorrent forums? I've visited aznv.net and it's pretty much dead, and d-addicts doesn't have anything I'm looking for.

Jem's bittorrent page seems to be down too, and it still seems the best way to get J-drama is still through IRC.

Also, would it be alright if I posted Jdrama (or other Asian dramas / movies) torrents that I started somewhere on this site?

You can post the main sites other than those mentioned in this forum, NOT torrents themselves. This is because torrents tend to die out quickly and then the mods will have to sit and verify that individual torrents work and/or get PM's from members asking why they don't work after a while. Links are easier to verify and clean up, and people can click and choose from what's there. So, links only, please. Thanks...

Torrents may die out within a week or two, but it's no different than the Jdrama sites that have torrents for all their releases but no seeders except for the latest torrents.

new tracker -> http://jpopsuki.fakederma.com/tracker/

Looks like they're picking up the new season dramas. Although the current offering there already exist on d-addicts, they may have other stuff in future plus they're also a jpop tracker.

Please don't bring up a debate with the moderators. KouSeiya315's decision is final.

I asked not to post torrents themselves because I don't want dead torrents sitting on here after a while. And how would I know if they are dead to remove them? I'd have to try the torrent...I shouldn't have to if I don't want to download the file.

If just the site link is posted, people can pick from some that may be seeded and some are added later. They can make their own choices on which torrents to download. As long as the site itself isn't dead, people can pick through what they want.

Besides that, this thread is for bittorrent sites.

We allow links for torrents in the seed request thread to save people time in seeding, but that's it. I don't want torrents posted directly here other than in seed requests.

A bit late in thanking you but thanks groink. I've started seeing some stuff come back on PMM that were on In Heavy. And now I see someone has started another site w/jpop stuff.

In momo's last note (that Ruroshin was kind enough to post everywhere), he mentioned that he was going to be dropping out completely for a bunch of reasons. So as much as we miss him, I doubt he will be back.

I know that, I don't know if it is frequent, but some SMAPxSMAP episodes, current, are being uploaded to the Sayaman trackers. I forgot the link but i'll get back to you when I do.

Just a reminder for everyone...

This "Bittorrent Sites" thread is to be used for listing Bittorrent sites, hence the name of the topic. w00t!

If you can't find a particular episode of a Japanese drama or movie, please post these types of requests at the provided Bittorrent requests topic:

Sticky: BT Seed Requests - Post your request on BT here.

For me, it takes an average of four hours to complete a single torrent. Best time has been about three minutes for a 700MB file. During my hay day, I was among the first to slip into the leaching pool of any given torrent, so it would actually take longer. And, when I jumped onto a torrent with, let's say four or five seeds already there, completion was much faster.
