I did a fast look at the new site. It seems nice but still not simple. I could not get all his photos. Came back to you here and love the ones you are showing. He really is perfection. Can't wait to see his next work.
Would also like to see translation of the Kusanagi/Jang interview.
Jang should be covered in bruises but it did not seem that way. tough guy and charming as well.
"JIN" sequel slated for spring 2011

The popular, award-winning drama series "JIN" is officially getting a sequel, scheduled for spring 2011. Takao Osawa (42) will reprise his starring role, along with other main cast members including Haruka Ayase (25), Masaaki Uchino (41), and Miki Nakatani (34).
Based on a manga by Motoka Murakami about a brain surgeon who gets sent back in time to the Bakumatsu era, "JIN" originally aired last fall. The series averaged over a 19% rating, with the final episode reaching 25.3%, the highest for any drama series on a commercial network last year.
Osawa commented that he was concerned about the sequel being a retread of the first series. However, the new series is said to be a step up in terms of scale and intensity. One of the highlights will be the assassination of Sakamoto Ryoma (Uchino) and whether the surgeon Jin (Osawa) can save him. New characters being introduced include Nakaoka Shintaro and the samurai Saigo Takamori.
Rumors surfaced earlier this month that Osawa and Ayase are in a relationship, but both of their agencies have denied it. As a result, the series will be receiving extra attention from fans and the media, especially since their characters in the drama are romantic interests.
The show's producer stated that this will be the conclusion of the drama and that there will be no movie version.
Osawa Takao is such a familiar face,. I didn't really pay much attention to him in Aragami. Maybe I was too busy ogling at Masaya Kato. (However I still managed to notice that he's a good actor from what I've seen.) Strange thing is before Jin, Osawa Takao was just a veteran actor I didn't really pay much attention to and Ayase Haruka was one I disliked but after seeing them in Jin, I totally fell. Now Osawa Takao is starting to look real special (as well as Haruka. There's something dazzling about this couple to my eyeballs.)
He's indeed charming (like Haruka said) and has a very cute smile. (When I think of him I think of a guy with a lot of teeth. Actually I didn't think he has a thread here. )

Osawa has been on TV with 'JIN'. It is on the NHK channel here in California. Unfortunately there are no English subs this time, but I am still watching just to look at it all again.
It is really interesting to see the scenery changing from old Edo to new Tokyo at the ending of each episode.
I am wondering how they will put Jin in the same vicinity with Ryoma when he is killed. I think that is stretching it a little.
So I got Ichi and watched it. I like the movie and all. Anyways, there was some promotion clips in the extra. There was a part where he was asked what he thought of the director Sori. He said something about he first thought that the director was all about CG but then he realized the director also emphasize on acting as well (something along that line) and he did praise that the director's creativity. But for the first part of the comment, I was like dude don't say that to his face. To add insult to injury, he said he doesn't really know (much about the director I guess. The director didn't look very happy.)
