Ok... I'm pretty much listen to music and watch my dramas, I understand bits of whats they are saying (most of the anime) but sometimes I don't understand the quick/fast talking... especially the talkshows like musicstation and Hey hey hey. Just say that I get more confused and lost the plot.

Is there anyway of improving your listening skills?

Sorry if this has been asked before but it's slightly bugging me. TnT

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.

What I've done in the past was to rewind the scene over and over again until you can hear and comprehend clearly on what has been said.
In time, it will become easier to comprehend. Keep in mind that if you do it half ass, you won't learn. It doesn't come over night. It takes persistance and dedication if you are planning on learning another language.

it's wierd, cause she almost never let me shower alone. Head Scratch

and half the time, the roomy would walk in and they'd start talking... about what, i'd never know.. except a few times i could pick out words here and there.

Lucky. Bow Bow

Isn't it customary to take a bath with other people in Japan. If the roommate would have come in the shower too, that would've send me another signal. Nut

Now that's improving your listening skills. Beaten

yeah, i started to walk in w/ the gf when she'd go into her bathroom to talk... of course i tried to understand what they were talking about...

once i was successful, they were talking about what kind of miso to make for dinner. I was pretty proud of myself that day.
